DarthBender85 2 Posted March 4, 2017 Hi I'm Ben. How are you?! Hope you're doing great! My odd question is this one...I have two mods for Kotor II TSL of the EBON HAWK. . . and if I were smart enough to do this myself, I wouldn't be asking this... But is there a way to combine those two aforementioned mods? One of the mods has the EBON HAWK with all black in the outside but the inside is old and boring and broken. But the other mod is all white and red and looks so good.I was wondering if someone here can do me that favor of combining the mods. Anyway thanks a lot!Ben. Update:How can I send the Ebon Hawk "black hawk" files? It doesn't let me! It says "Too big to upload" The file name when i downloaded it its called."HD Black Ebon Hawk - Glass Version and No Glass version". "So, I took base for my texture from "Black Ebon Hawk" Mod by Cap.BlackAcids/Peter A Turner and also took some parts from "Vurt's KOTOR: TSL Ebon Hawk Retexture" by Vurt and made some magic with Photoshop In the end to make this texture, I spent almost 18 hours. I increased all of the details, I made some relief-like surfaces, added some extra stuff, and did other scary things... And now ship looks more like movie-style ships." The red color Hawk mod can be found here.Jedi Hawk Skin (Red Interior)Author: Venom2099Date:6-26-08Mod:Jedi_Hawk_Skin_K2 Help!!!
Kexikus 995 Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) I really don't get what you are trying to do? You combined two texture mods, right? And now you want to upload it here as a new mod or something else? If you want to upload it, you first need to get the permission from the original authors to use their work and then you simply add it as a download by going to the download section at the top of the page and then selecting "Upload new file" at the top right. Edit: Also, that thread title doesn't help with understanding your issue either. Try something more descriptive next time Admin: We're on the case. Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted March 12, 2017 1. First of all welcome to Deadly Stream Forums. As you're new, you'll want to acquaint yourself with our Forum Rules. 2. I'm not going to do my usual snarky comments on poor grammar or spelling as you may not be a native English speaker. However, I will point out you should doing proper linking if you want folks to find the files you refer to in the future. For a clear explanation of how do this, please check this post. (Scroll down to the section called "Hyperlinks" in big bold, red letters.) 3. On to your problem: Let me see if I have this straight . . . you know the textures from these two mods because you've worked on them. Yet you want to combine them into a new mod. And these aren't your mods and you haven't sought permission to reupload them? I'm sorry my friend that just won't fly here. (See rule 19 in the rules I linked to.) You can't upload someone else's mods without their permission. But feel free to enjoy your retexturing on a personal basis. Might I suggest considering creating your own work without using someone else's work as a foundation?
Seikan 22 Posted March 12, 2017 I'm not sure he wants to upload the mod, I think he just wants to combine both mods into his own game and don't know how to do so, and is asking how can he take both textures mods and get them to work together on the game (like maybe he wants to exterior of one and interior of the other), or perhaps he just Wants to mix both textures. The only part I don't get is that if he's able to edit the textures on photoshop how can he not deduce by himself how to mix both mods ... Anyways that's just my take on his post, but it's true it'd be better if he could give more details.
Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted March 12, 2017 The only part I don't get is that if he's able to edit the textures on photoshop how can he not deduce by himself how to mix both mods Therein lies the confusion! Update: After re-reading it, it's even more confusing as he's mentioning three different mods. (One of which, he incorrectly attributed but I've corrected that.) I've added the hyperlinks to make our lives easier.

Malkior 476 Posted April 3, 2017 What i wanted mate is this.... I have 2 mods right? I want to use the exterior from one and the interiors from another and do one. Cant get any more clearer... To make them work together in your game, you take whichever texture files you want and put them in your Override folder. In this case, those would be the exterior Ebon Hawk files from black ebon hawk, and the interior files from the others. To determine if a file is the exterior, open it in Photoshop and look to verify. The Ebon Hawk Exterior only has a few (3-5) textures, so finding them should be easy. If you can't find them all for whatever reason, the KotorTool has a feature that lets you run through the list of every texture in the game with image previews when you Double-Click them. If you need to learn more about the Kotor tool, there is a fairly in-depth tutorial online, but it's generally not necessary. If your question was how to upload the new combined files yourself to DeadlyStream, well, as Sith Holocron and Kexikus said, you're going to have to get permission from the authors of every mod you used before you altered them. Once you get permissions, I'm sure someone can help you make your download meet the file upload size limit this site has in place.
