[KotOR] Extra attacks from wielding repeating rifles

Fair Strides brought up the idea of adding extra attacks via the scripts mentioned in this thread. I think it would be a really nice thing to have, and am wondering if someone could do this or link me to some guides that would teach me how to do it myself. (I have never done any scripting past spawning/removing items/characters/placeables, so I'd need something really basic.)
