Two Quests

So, there are two side quests on M4-78 that I can't figure out how to do.

 

The first one involves the somewhat defunct droids around the Central Zone. I know that there's a quest related to fixing them, because I did it a couple of years ago, but I can't remember how to start it. Can anybody tell me?

 

The second one is the one that gets added to the journal when the Industrial Zone maintenance droid tells about the other droid that came to help with repairs and then ran off or whatever. After three play-throughs total, I've never found out any way to advance the quest - is there any way, or is it just a rogue quest entry?

2. Seek the odd one out amongst all of them in the final room before the Archon (with the big screens).
