[SPOILERS] Is a video for this a bad idea, people?

We've all heard about the lag in the Industrial Zone. What if instead of the rows upon rows of . . .

war droids

. . . that are likely causing the lag, we had something like this instead.

A pre-rendered video showing the automated assembly line process of those war droids being built if your player clicks on one of the terminals by the droid designers or the droid testers. This would replace the need for having so many droids in the testing chambers. If they made it a BIK rather than doing in game, you could even use that HK Factory animation that shows a war droid (instead of HK-51's) on that endless rotating rack in the HK Factory sub-level. A few sparks and a puff of smoke later and boom - you got yourself a functioning droid walking off the assemblu line and "off screen." An instant War Droid Manufacturing plant without a need for another module.

However, Zbyl and Hassat Hunter are very hesitant to attempt such a thing.  Are you?  If you feel up to the challenge, feel free to create a video of such a scene in action and send a YouTube private link of it action.

Let's kill that lag once and for all.

Here's a thought; I've heard that part of the problem of so many NPCs is not necessarily the models themselves, but the scripts that run for each of them. I'm not sure how the droids are setup, but I'm assuming that they are NPCs with standard scripts running. What if they made a placeable model of the droids in the deactivated state, and substituted those instead? I'd think it's at least worth a shot.
