Guibaesa Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Hey there, i got a problem with the volume of the music on my kotor 2, steam version more exactly. Each time i start a conversation or a cutscene starts, the volume of the music in my the game drops by half of what it was. Such thing did not happened before the last update came in. I tried everything, i got all of my volumes (speech, effects and music) at 100%, i tried to low birth defects and speech down to 50% to sync the volumes, but it doesnt seem to solve the problem, it seems when i got the speech volume at 50%,the music volume, in cutscenes and in dialogues automatically drops to 25%. Is there a way to fix this? perhaps downloading something from the old version of the game? For me at least would be very good to here the soundtrack of the fantastic game (during the entire game) once more.
Squall Lionhart Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Thats with the update unfortunately. I had the same issue and when I switched back to the legacy PC version, it was fixed.

Just like the audio skipping bug that so annoys you, we cannot fix it because it is a problem caused by Aspyr when they re-compiled/updated the game. Real simple solution for you: Use the legacy version from Steam or just grab the GOG version... 1
