sw-falcon 0 Posted January 28, 2015 I'm trying to install the 1.8.3 version, I downloaded the mod from moddb.com, I bought the game from GOG.com, I don't have any mods installed yet, I want to install TSLRCM correctly first before adding other mods on, this is the first version I have of the mod, I haven't downloaded any previous versions of this mod, I install the mod, it shows I've installed it correctly, but when I run the TSL, the main menu hasn't changed to show that the mod is working, when installing it, at the "Select destination location" I don't change the location of where it's going to be placed, I use the one that's already suggested, which is C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\SWKotOR2, does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be? i only recently started to mod games so I'm not very knowledge with them yet. I would apperctiate any help anyone can give me.
Boilpoint 12 Posted January 28, 2015 I'm pretty sure that's not the standard install location for GOG games. It seems like you're answering your own question since you didn't select the correct location, right?
sw-falcon 0 Posted January 28, 2015 That's what I'm thinking, but since I'm very new to mods, I have no idea what folder to place the mod in, I figured the location it suggested me would be just fine, the only mods I've ever installed are ones where you just copy and place them in the override folder, I'm reading over the FAQ, and what shows up is:7. FAQ / KNOWN ISSUES---------Q. How do I know TSLRCM is installed? The main screen is unchanged.A. If the mainscreen is unchanged, TSLRCM isn't installed. Mostly this is related to people installing to the wrong location. Double-check yours. What location do I place the mod in then?
Fair Strides 510 Posted January 28, 2015 If you have an icon on your taskbar or on the desktop to launch the game, then right-click it and select properties. See what path it has set and then install TSLRCM to that path.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted January 29, 2015 Default GOG location is C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - KotOR2
Sith Holocron 2,480 Posted January 29, 2015 GOG location should probably be added to the read-me in TSLRCM's next incarnation.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted January 29, 2015 It is... (atleast I asked Zbyl to add it, having delivered the modified readme for the installer before it's release)
