Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted March 3, 2014 Hey folks, I'm putting this out here publicly as I don't want this to hurt the project in the long run. I'm working on getting end credit moves done: one for TSLRCM and one for TSLRCM with M4-78. The music requested for the TSLRCM movie was the KOTOR March. The powers-that-be (not me) have decided to go with the KotOR March for the TSLRCM movie. That music is only in KotOR1 as far as I know. I think it might be a porting issue even though it would be permanently attached to the movie file. I'd love to hear calm, balanced discussion on whether this is or isn't porting. Thank you for your attention.
Kainzorus Prime 205 Posted March 3, 2014 Did the composers change between the two games? If not, it might be a loophole to use the track. Also, I'd personally suggest some non-KotOR music altogether for the TSLRCM credits.
Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted March 3, 2014 Two different composers. KotOR1's soundtrack was by Jeremy Soule. KotOR2's soundtrack was by Mark Griskey.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted March 3, 2014 And of course the Star Wars intro, still by John Williams. Some KOTOR1 music is re-used in KOTOR2 (think the Ravager). I wouldn't want to go outside KOTOR. Stick to the series, rather than venture of to someplace else nothing to do with it...
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted March 13, 2014 Not a lot of input, sadly enough . Oh well, thanks Kainzorus Prime!
