BodyLeakage 0 Posted February 4, 2014 I'm doing the quest "Central Zone Guardian" I'm at the point where I need to activate L5-65. In order to do that I need power cores. In the quest journal, it says I have three out of the required four. I spoke to the central maintenance droid who said I should check with the industrial zones maintenance droid. When I speak to him, he doesn't have any. I've looked around and can't find the last core. If anybody could help me out here I would be very appreciative. I have like 4 parts of M4-78 and I've shown mostly everything that is on the planet, including finding power cores... You can find it on YouTube, or go at the TSLRCM forum and search my thread with the walkthrough parts...
BodyLeakage 0 Posted February 4, 2014 I did look through some walk-through parts. The ones I found where quite some length and actually pin pointing where the cores would be found is a challenge within itself. I did manage to find the last core! thanks to a combination of YT and patience.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted February 4, 2014 There are more than 4 cores to be found on M4-78, so it's not like you have to find 4/4, it's more 4/7 (or even more).
shaggoth 2 Posted February 9, 2014 Damn that fourth power core! Good riddles and hell of a fight. For me, the hardest thing at the start was to understand which droid I'm supposed to be looking for. I mean . . . someone says something like "ask maintenance droid", and then after 30 minutes, I accidentally find him by the name of xX-xx. Edit 1: I still can't find 4th powercore, and the planet is EXTREME on my laptop in some areas, so i kinda give up, maybe someone can give me a cheat code to get it? i've browsed thru kse inventory with no luck.. Sith Holocron 2,480 Posted February 9, 2014 Spoilers from Zbyl2 You can get two from the central zone maintenance unit when he explains how to reactivate L5-65. You can get one power core from Industrial Zone maintenance droid if you got parts for him (Manufacturing Recourses side-quest). If you didn't do that quest, you'll still get power cores if you didn't kill any other droids. One can be found in the loading zone. (Try looking in containers.) One can be found on a Sith's body, near the Environmental Zone's entrance. One is dropped by one of the droids you kill in the Environmental Zone. If you kill Kaah, you get a power core from his body, too.
shaggoth 2 Posted February 9, 2014 and the planet is EXTREME on my laptop in some areas i mean it, it's REALLY hard to play, but i've managed this far. well if there's no way to cheat, i'll try one last time to find it

SergeantMatt 0 Posted February 24, 2014 I'm having the same problem. Additionally, I've gotten three power cores but the quest still says 2. Already got these. 2. Just did that quest, he gave me none. 3. Already got it. 4. Nope, just a double bladed lightsaber. 5. None of them dropped it. 6. I didn't kill him. I've already scoured the map twice and talked to every single droid, is there anyway to just use the giveitem command to give me a 4th one?
SergeantMatt 0 Posted February 25, 2014 Okay, I reverted to a previous save and tried again, and this time the Central Maintenance Droid gave me another power core that he didn't the first time. Dunno what changed, but solved, I guess.
Khaz 0 Posted September 22, 2015 I'll cut to the chase, is there a command I can use to get power cores or advance in the mission? You can get two from the central zone maintenance unit when he explains how to reactivate L5-65. He did. You can get one power core from Industrial Zone maintenance droid if you got parts for him (Manufacturing Recourses side-quest). If you didn't do that quest, you'll still get power cores if you didn't kill any other droids. Basically told me to f*ck off, didn't give me anything. One can be found in the loading zone. (Try looking in containers.) For the life of me, can't find any containers in that zone. (It's the one with the Ebon, right?) One can be found on a Sith's body, near the Environmental Zone's entrance. Only had a lightsaber, tried reloading 4 times. Shows as if I could select the sith, but doing so does nothing. One is dropped by one of the droids you kill in the Environmental Zone. Didn't get anything like a power core, ran through the zone two times after beating it. If you kill Kaah, you get a power core from his body, too. Didn't kill him.
jon747 0 Posted October 12, 2015 Same problem, very annoying. Just tacks onto the tediousness of this mod.
AnttiV 0 Posted December 23, 2015 The "loading zone" is the place where there is multiple powered-down droids and five or six containers. In the industrial zone, before Testing. (Where the Escort Droid takes you if you tell it to take you to "loading zone"...) One of those containers - at least for me - did contain a powercell. However I'm still stuck because that's the ONLY place I've been able to find one, beside the Central Maintenance droid giving you two at the start of the quest. I completed the industrial zone repar-side-quest BEFORE (way, way before) I even got this quest and didn't receive any powercells ever. There's a "Sith Body" or "Dead Sith" (If forgot) near the Environmental Zone entrance. However nothing happens when I click on it. It is "selectable", and the character walks to it when clicked, but then nothing happens. None of the Environmental Zone droids dropped the cells when killed (then again, I didn't have this quest back then). Didn't kill Kaah either, so didn't get one. So I'm also short one and looking for a command to either cheat one in, or advance the quest manually to the point where I don't need the cells anymore. (KotOR Savegame Editor, KSE cannot do this, as there is nothing regarding M4-78 available in the KSE datasets.) I'm having the same problem. Additionally, I've gotten three power cores but the quest still says 2.1. Already got these.2. Just did that quest, he gave me none.3. Already got it.4. Nope, just a double bladed lightsaber.5. None of them dropped it.6. I didn't kill him. I've already scoured the map twice and talked to every single droid, is there anyway to just use the giveitem command to give me a 4th one?I'm in the exact same situation now. With all but one different point on that list: 4: nothing, I can click on the body and the character walks to it, but nothing happens then. No looting window, nothing. Also to note, I did "2." way before I even got this quest (for the cells) and never received any cells whatsoever.
