Grunker 0 Posted August 15, 2013 I'm replaying KotOR II after quite some time, DS playthrough. But even though I'm DS, I'd like to keep all of the Jedi Masters alive for the meeting on Dantooine, since I recall the ending being extremely unsatisfying if you don't. Anyway, so far it's been going great, but I just ran into a major snag on Onderon. As far as I knew, to get the choice to join Talia during the conversation Tobin in the Cantina, all I had to do was support Talia during the conversation with the aliens. I did that. However, when meeting Tobin, I have no choice but to join him because of "my acts supporting Vaklu." I have saves from before the meeting from Tobin, but not from before speaking with the aliens and helping Anda with the captains. Is there a global I can change in KSE or something, or am I just completely screwed?
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted August 15, 2013 You killed a captain? Since then you're locked to Vaklu, yes.
Grunker 0 Posted August 15, 2013 You killed a captain? Since then you're locked to Vaklu, yes. Damn. I killed the Sky Ramp captain. Could I have dealt with him in another way? There's nothing I can do then? I'm screwed?
Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted August 15, 2013 Damn. I killed the Sky Ramp captain. Could I have dealt with him in another way? There's nothing I can do then? I'm screwed? Go to an earlier save before you killed that Captain. That's your only reliable choice.

zbyl2 811 Posted August 15, 2013 Changing 500OND_DarkSide_Iziz to 0 in KSE *should* make the game think you sided with Talia and let you save Kavar. I don't remember if there were any other globals involved, though, so I can't guarantee you won't get some funny stuff in the palace later on.
