Markus Ramikin 107 Posted September 7, 2010 How long do they normally take to process an upload? I don't seem to be able to find any FAQ or such that would address it. But I know we have multiple kotorfiles uploaders here, so figured I'd ask.
Stoney 1,510 Posted September 7, 2010 It depends, I would say the average is 1-3 days but sometimes it can be quicker(or longer). In the case of TSLRCM it was posted the same day only because a version was sent to one of the staff members for pre-testing/approval/review because if it being such a large mod. Markus Ramikin 107 Posted September 7, 2010 Oh hm. Seems there's a guy named "Stream" on their staff, as one of the "file posters". Which I imagine is people handling uploads. Is this the same as our Doctor?

If you're some people (like myself) your mods will never go up no matter when you submitted them, or who you gave them to. It's usually up within a week tops though. Instead of being patient with us, one of the filefront admins, has twice on mass just uploaded every file in the upload que, which is why quite a few mods have appeared without reviews. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. Kind Regards, jonathan7
VarsityPuppet 1,085 Posted September 8, 2010 What's wrong with yourself? Bad luck, it seems. The last few mods I tried to upload were rejected because of a 'timeout', which means they were in the queue so long, that they just rejected them. Then I sent a package of my mods to J7 directly, and those never went up either.
Markus Ramikin 107 Posted September 8, 2010 Bet it had to do with the zips being a mess *ducks for cover*.
VarsityPuppet 1,085 Posted September 8, 2010 Bet it had to do with the zips being a mess *ducks for cover*. I'll make you a mess! *shakes fists* Seriously, though as I recall, they were cleanly zipped. The funny thing is that I volunteered to be a reviewer and operator on Filefront, and J7 was vouching for me, but I have yet to hear back from him. Ugh, reminds me of job searching. Thank God that part of my life is over for now.
Markus Ramikin 107 Posted September 12, 2010 Meh, still nothing about my mod. This is wiki age, things like contributing content to a site shouldn't take forever!
