dodrarikaan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) It occurred to me that I've never asked (and I don't see any posts about it either). There are a finite number of numeric IDs for items added to the game, like 99 in total. What steps do people take when setting the numeric ID of their modded items to avoid overlapping with other mods? Do you just match against the mods you use personally? Is there a list somewhere of which IDs are available? Do you pick whatever and assume the user can adjust the files locally if there's a conflict? Edited 1 hour ago by dodrarikaan Quote
JCarter426 Posted 32 minutes ago Posted 32 minutes ago If you're referring to the model variation, there are 255 model variations available for each item class. It's possible to add new item types with a different one but otherwise the same properties in most cases if you really need to. I note which ones I use in my readme files and hope there isn't a conflict. 1 Quote
