Lightsaber mod not working on a clean install

I installed this old insta-kill lightsaber mod for kotor 2 but in-game whenever I attempt to obtain it through the cheat command I get a blank grenade.

This is a completely fresh install of the game with no workshop mods or TSLRCM mods. I attempted to obtain the items through KSE but then I'm presented with this; 

 

It says Bad StrfRef and when I apply and load into game It's a regular saber with none of the mod properties. 

I made a mod with the same insta-kill properties myself but unfortunately in game it doesn't work properly and it's just a normal lightsaber...

Any Ideas why this could be happening?

 

Side side note: Any other mod appears to work it's just lightsaber mods that don't work on my kotor 2 install for some reason

The files you attached do not contain any items named kill_blue, kill_green, kill_yellow, or kill_purple.

Got you, Thanks. It said to input kill_blue kill_red XYZ in the readme so I got confused. I just made another variant of the mod and it seems to be working. Thank you for your time JC
