ACTA is the world's biggest pain in the ass. I didn't want to come to these forums to discuss internet censorship, but unfortunately it seems like Mrs. Inconvenience has played with time again.

Anyways, Poland is in a stage of all out riot. They really didn't like their Government saying "Yes" to ACTA. It's a good thing to see them continue in their fight, even after their leaders have ignored them. Twitter is now apparently about to censor it's posts, due to a DCMA complaint about someone spreading leaks to pirated Sheet Music. It's amazing how small-time music composers can suddenly scare one of the the worlds biggest Social Platforms. The users of Megaupload are protesting against the FBI, threatening to sue due to the damages the server being down has caused.

#TwitterBlackout is occurring. Please don't go on Twitter for the next 24-odd hours. Even Anonymous is staying quiet.

I'll be keeping everyone updated. Support the people, screw censorship.

It's what I do. Remember this isn't just a threat to the general internet but, a threat to K1R, TSLRCM, all other beta restoring projects and the beta community. Often in the beta community prototypes are leaked and preserved if ACTA is enacted we would see the end of that and I luvz me some beta. It's not guaranteed we would see an end to mods but, it is a possibility with how vague the language in the treaty is. Under ACTA most of Youtube would be wiped out, you would be monitored 24/7 and free speech would be stifled all under the guise of copyright.

I tried to warn my beta-loving friends over at Unseen64.net about ACTA being a threat to the beta community but, the site's owner Monokoma hasn't responded to my PM asking if I could post about it on the main site of Unseen64. This is important, we must get the word out on as many sites as possible.

Another useful resource for learning about and stopping ACTA is http://www.stopacta.info/

I just posted about ACTA on the Star Wars Revisited Facebook site. being a fan edit, they would also be attacked should this bill be passed.

Excellent. We all have a responsibility to get the word out about ACTA if we want our internet to be able to fend off this onslaught of censorship. Remember "Down with ACTA!".

I'm afraid I bring grave news. I feel sick just thinking about this.

It seems volunteers of the European Union and European Comission are in support of ACTA, defending it and not answering the questions of us, the people. More over, ACTA has a sibling. The TPPA. It's evil.

To try and brighten the mood, I have a little Anti-ACTA propaganda, as well as the news that an internet petition has almost reach 1,500,000 signatures.

Well even so there's one way to get them to say no on ACTA. The European people need to let the parliament know that if they ratify ACTA those who voted for it lose reelection. Politicians are always afraid of losing reelection. Yes I know about TPPA, it is indeed worse than ACTA however it is nowhere as close to being passed that is why all guns must be aimed at ACTA.
