  1. Assuming the scene where the PC talks to Mandalore at the end remains in the mod, then it should work. That scene triggers my script.
  2. File Name: Choose Your Party - Malachor V File Submitter: I_Jedi File Submitted: 20 Jan 2013 File Category: Mods TSLRCM Compatible: Yes -------------------------------------- -----Choose your party mod------------ -------------------------------------- by I_Jedi --------------------- ----Purpose---------- --------------------- After playing through the TSLRCM version of Malachor V, I was bothered that I was forced to tell Mandalore to take the surviving party members away. Therefore, I decided to create two responses to allow you to choose two party members to assist you after you save them. Note: This *IS* a TSLRCM mod; this mod will have no effect in vanilla. You will be able to choose from all the Jedi characters except Kreia and Bao-Dur. Mandalore can be chosen. --------------------- ---Installation------ --------------------- 1. Install KOTOR 2 and any official patches. 2. Install TSLRCM 1.8. (Or any TSLRCM version that has a rescue scene in Malachor where you speak to Mandalore.) 3. You will find one .dlg file and 13 ncs files in this archive. Place them in the Override folder. The Source folder holds source files for modders; you do not need to put these in override. 4. The Fixed_Party folder has dlg files that allow you to talk to the party members beyond a one line sentence about a force cage. These should work without problems, so overwrite the TSLRCM versions in the override folder with these. Backup the dlg files in case they don't work properly. 5. Play! Changes should take effect automatically. -------------------- ----Bugs------------ -------------------- I have not tested all combinations. If you find a bug with this mod, tell me about it and when it occured in the convo. ---------------------- ----Acknowledgements-- ---------------------- The TSLRCM team, for restoring K2. 4. According to this news post by the TSLRCM team (http://www.moddb.com/mods/the-sith-lords-restored-content-mod-tslrcm/news/whats-to-come), the Genoharadan Mod is now compatible with TSLRCM 1.8.2. However, I did not find anything else to confirm or deny this except for information presumably out of date, and testing the theory myself could break the game. So...is the mod compatible? I made a seperate thread for this so others can know whether or not the mod is compatible too without sifting through the big thread and also due to the significance of this mod in particular.
  5. This seems like a good alternative. I forgot about T3.
  6. Finished a few hours ago. The mod was of superior quality overall. However, I was irked by the But Thou Must to make the party members leave. I would have liked a small interaction which causes you to pick which party members you would like to assist you in fighting your way to Kreia. I managed to get around this with warp codes though. Still, the mod was very good.
  7. Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but this section seems the most applicable. I haven't completed TSLRCM 1.8 to the end yet, but I read that Bao-Dur's death when raiding the HK factory with HK-47 is not included. Proof that this was intended is here under the "Game Questions" section on Chris Avellone's blog: http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?automodule=blog&blogid=1&showentry=120 Since the idea fits in the plot considering that the only time you see him after the battle of Telos is in a presumably post-mortem hologram, I suggest this form of small addon with minimal VOs if none can be found: You start out on the telos landing pad before the base. Bao-Dur and HK-47 begin to move out, but military droids arrive. Bao-Dur readies his weapon, and may motion for HK-47 to enter the base. The player then sees a cutscene of HK-47 moving to enter the base while Bao-Dur begins to fight the droids and maybe a boss Tank droid. The player then gains control of Bao-Dur. Bao-Dur destroys several droids, but a cutscene plays showing Bao-Dur being fatally shot. Bao-Dur's items are returned to the player's inventory and the regular TSLRCM hk factory sequence commences. Such an addon would clearly wrap up Bao-Dur's fate, and fits within the TSLRCM plotline: Grenn notices Bao-Dur is gone. Bao-Dur's failure to appear in the Malachor fight would make sense. Kreia would not be able to know he died because she can't see any thoughts from him when he was alive. This still would hold true if he's dead. This would be the reason he sent his remote to reactivate the Shadow generator instead of doing it himself. Exile and co. would not know this because no one in the party witnessed his death except HK-47. HK-47 does not meet back up with the party before the end of the game to inform them in TSLRCM. Finally, this would restore intended content. What do you think of this proposed addition?
