  3. Bioware TGA to DDS Converter

This is the orignal tool made by bioware to create a kotor-compatible dds, please see the .doc for instructions. (it wasn't mentioned there but the TGA must be square, and a power of 2 (256x256,512x512,1024x1024,2048x2048 etc.) in resolution)
NOTE: this tool is one way only, tga>dds it doesn't do the reverse. FORUM DISCUSSION HERE

  4. G0-T0 Overhaul

    READ THIS OR ELSE|V||V|
You must have TSLRCM 1.8.4 installed BEFORE this mod!
You also should use a save from before you go to Nar Shaddaa.
    READ THIS OR ELSE|ヘ||ヘ|
    ========================================================
A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II: (THE SITH LORDS) MODIFICATION
    ========================================================
    G0-T0 Overhaul V1.2

    Author: Darth Sapiens (dr.nordgren@ymail.com)
    Name: G0T0 Overhaul

    1. Description:
    ----------
This mod does what it says - overhauls G0-T0 to be more interesting, adding melee capabilities and a brand new model. This mod also includes a few new items, creatable at the workbench (with a high enough repair skill) and also they come with g0-t0.
Hopefully this mod is balanced (it's my first mod, so I'm still learning the ropes).

    2. Install:
    ----------/
(It is highly recommended that you update your game to version 2.10 (the 1.0b update) before installing this mod.)
    Run "Install G0T0 Overhaul.exe".
Note: a new folder named "backup" will be created during the installation within the folder the installer was run from. If you plan on uninstalling this mod, this folder and the files therein must not be deleted as they are used during the uninstall process.
    Note from Fair Strides:
Not all of the options need to be done. All of them have descriptions to help you choose.
For a quick bit of info, "required" ones are options 1, 2, 8, and 9. You will also need Option 4 OR Option 6, depending on whether you have the NPC Overhaul mod by Kainzorus Prime installed, so please read those descriptions and pick the right option!
Options 3, 5, and 7 are entirely optional and in keeping with Darth Sapiens's original layout.

    3. Uninstall: dont bug me about this, ever XD
    ----------/
Backups of any files that have been altered were made during installation and placed in a folder called "backup" within the folder the installer was run from.
-1. Replace the modified ones with the originals
-2. Delete the g0t0 folder inside your override
-3. Replace the sound files and delete the .mp3's added

    4. Bugs:
    ----------/
There are no known issues that will develop as a result of installing this mod properly.
Other than a small currently unfixable animation problem...

    6. Distribution Notes:
    ----------/
If i ever disappear, you can (unless specified otherwise) reupload to any site as long as credit is given and the readme is unaltered. If I'm gone try to contact me before you release a new mod based on mine. If you can't get a hold of me, then carry on; just give me and my co-modders credit.

    7. Thanks:
    ----------/
Deadman - model tweaking and rigging
neomarz1 - his work inspired me to mod, and he allowed me to use parts of his work.
Sith Holocron - critiscism (good stuff though)
Fair Strides - 1.2 overhaul and patching
and my beta testers - Jaden Korr and Nsinger998
and my 1.2 beta testers - Fair Strides, djh269, and Malkior!
THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT OR LUCASARTS OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. USE OF THIS FILE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THE ABOVE MENTIONED COMPANIES OR THE AUTHOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR COMPUTER FOR THE USAGE OF THIS FILE.

  5. Hanharr's Jedi Training

This mod provides darkside players with a means of training Hanharr as a dark jedi guardian, it branches off of the part where you "break" him. it also includes a new skin, portrait, and if it works correctly, when you train him his appearance should change.
The read me says it requires TSLRCM 1.8.1 but anything newer should work too.

  6. Darth Sapiens (and Deadman) present HD 2K Darth Sion

hey guys, so I used Deadman's amazing sion model (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/172-modders-resourse-tfu-style-darth-sion-model/) which he released as a modders resource, so without him, I doubt I would have been able to produce this mod, so thanks Deadman if you do use this mod at all in your own work please give credit for me, and dead man, and link to this page, ( other than that, my usual policy applies, no profit and your ok)

of course the usual disclaimers apply,

ps. from now on all my textures are going to be in dds, for effectiveness. these included.

  7. Darth Sapiens presents: HD 2K Visas Marr

so here is the HD visas part of my ongoing texture project series, I desired to maintain the vanilla "look", but with much higher quality textures, I feel I have sufficiently achieved this, (i took a little liberty on the dark side transitions, but they are definitely not "movie style")

the usual disclaimers apply, and of course you don't need my permission to reuse this, as long as it's not for profit.

  10. Darth Sapiens Presents: HD Darth Nihilus

    Hey guys!
It's been a while since I released something, I haven't been able to mod nearly as much as i'd like to lately, but hopefully you all can forgive me this is a Darth Nihilus skin I did while making a video tutorial series, which i didn't end up getting ready for a release yet, that would go through all of the techniques I used to do it (I know what you are thinking... I am frustrated with myself for not finishing what I start too! lol)

  11. KOTOR TOOL

THIS PROGRAM IS MADE BY FRED TETRA I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THIS PROGRAM,
i also have some of the map files from the site if any one has more pm or email me, ill upload them here.
here is the original readme for this program.

    Kotor Tool v1.0.2210.16738 (2006-1-19 12:38)

    About this program...

I originally wrote this tool so I could experiment with 2DA files and scripts.
Through feature suggestions, it has grown quite a bit into what many tell me
    is a pretty handy utility.

Thanks to all of those who have taken the time to make those suggestions and put
up with the occasional bug that creeps in at 2:00 in the morning!

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Requirements...

I should (and will!) mention in the readme file that you need to have
the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installed.

    You can get it at:
    http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/a/c/aac39226-8825-44ce-90e3-bf8203e74006/dotnetfx.exe

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Contact info...

    fredtetra@hotmail.com

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Quick start instructions...

Unzip the kotor_tool.exe, ImageTools.dll files and the Maps folder to a directory.

The first time you run the program, it will attempt to
detect where you have installed KotOR and configure
some of the directory paths it needs to work. It will
then bring up the path management screen so you can verify them.

    To work with BIF files:
Expand the BIFs item on the tree view.
    You can:

    - Select any *.bif file from the tree view, then click
Extact to extract every file in it to a directory

    - Select any file in a bif, then click Extact to extract
    it to a directory

    - Select any file in a bif, then click Hex View to see
    it in Hex/ANSI/Unicode

    - Double-click on any 2da file to bring up the editor for it.
You can then edit the values and write the file to a directory.
(Most likely the override folder in yout KotOR folder)
Clicking on the column header in the editor grid will sort it
based on the values in that column. Repeated clicking will
    change the sort direction.

    - You can also open the 2da v2.b file editor from the File menu
for editing. NOTE: You do not have to open the chitin.key file first.

    - 2DA editing features:
    * Add line to end, delete any line, right click
to insert new line. Be careful with those last two!

    * You can renumber the row labels from the right-click menu

    * Undo all changes

    * Reset sort to "as opened" mode (press F5 or use menu

    * Import and export your 2da files in XML format

    - Double click on any nss/vis/txi file to bring up the editor for it.
You can then edit the text and write the file to a directory.

    - To extract a .mdl (Model) file, double click on it; the model will be
extracted and converted, along with any required TGA-format textures.
NOTE: You must have CChargin's Extract0-5 program installed in the
    same directory as Kotor Tool.

    To work with RIM files:
Expand the RIMs item on the tree view.

    - Select any *.rim file from the tree view, then click
Extact to extract every file in it to a directory

    - Select any file in a rim, then click Extact to extract
    it to a directory

    - Double-click on almost any file in a rim to launch the GFFEditor,
assuming you have installed it in the kotor_tool directory

    - Control-Double-click on almost any file in a rim to launch text editor
with a syntax-colored version of the GFF file's contents

    - Shift-Double-click on almost any file in a rim to launch text editor
with a plain-text version of the GFF file's contents.

    To work with ERF files:
Expand the ERFs item on the tree view.

    - Select any file in a rim, then click Extact to extract
    it to a directory

    - Double-click on almost any file in a rim to launch the editor for it.

    - TPC files now can be viewed with the built-in image viewer. You can also
save the files in TGA format from the viewer.

    - If you like using the keyboard to navigate the treeview, you can use the
spacebar to open the Image Viewer with a TPC file selected.

    - If the Image Viewer is open, moving up and down the list of TPC files
with the arrow keys will show each image in turn. Note: some files cannot
    yet be viewed.

    - To view tpc files in an external app, hold down the Shift key while
double-clicking. You need tpc2tga and an image viewer. (see below)

    - Some tpc files have a format that is not yet understood. Attempting
to view one of these files may either show a strange image or
    crash the program.

    Notes:
    * You can specify whether or not you want to automatically convert extracted .tpc files to TGA format
from the Tools | Options... menu. This is only used with the external tpc2tga program.

    * If you also want to be able to view the .tpc files using an external program
you must install a TGA file viewer and specify the path to it in the Path Manager.
You can download a free TGA viewer at http://www.creabit.com/viewer/

    * You can specify whether or not you want the BIF tree built at
program startup or not from the Tools | Options... menu.
If you leave the checkbox unchecked, the BIF portion of the
tree view will only be built when you attempt to expand it.

  12. M-478EP 1.0 -tslrcm 1.8.2 fading logo

this is a logo i made for m4-78 ep, zbyl didnt see it before he released the mod but what this does is creates a fading logo for the main menu that fades between m4-78 and tslrcm, i like it personally,

one small note, older machines might experience a tiny bit of lag before a loadscreen and when booting up the game. its barely noticible on my netbook though.

    the usual disclaimers apply,

if you like it let me know! ill make one for the next release too.
