  1. [KotOR] Bastila must hide!

This is the second (and likely last) entry from me as part of the Snigaroo mod build request found here.
We wanted to offer an alternative to the existing „Operation Kill Bastila Remade” by Hunters Run. The main difference being that this version doesn't allow for any combat sequence, but rather focus exclusively on the importance for Bastila to be disguised when walking on Upper Taris. While an ideal execution proves to be beyond what I could be capable to achieve, I believe this modification (and indeed the original one) adds a much needed layer of realism and common sense by closing a rather glaring plot hole. Unfortunately, this isn't completely drawbacks-free. For one thing, the possibility of disguise will be limited to Taris when it may be reasonable to think it should not have such limitation. For another, I needed to introduce a couple of party selection restrictions that are not present in the original game. It is my opinion, though, that they both seemed to make a certain amount of sense, and on of them has the additional benefit of taking care of another minor „plot hole” of the game. Enjoy!

  2. [KotOR] Dialogue Fixes

In an attempt to salvage some material from the now defunct SW:KotOR Upgrade project, I have decided to share this modification with the community.
This file is meant to replace the original dialog.tlk that comes with the original game. It is meant to be used exclusively with the English version of the game.
It is technically compatible with every other modification that alter this same file by patching it, provided this is installed first.
Two versions are offered: one that includes only corrections and a revised one that includes most of the changes found in the PC Response Moderation modification by Kainzorus Prime.
    Enjoy!

  3. [KotOR] Swoop Bike Upgrades

This modification comes from a (very reasonable) request made by Snigaroo, lamenting the fact that in the original game it's not possible to improve the performance of the game's swoop bike despite evidence that upgrades should be available. I introduced two of them and made them available in two different stores. They can be purchased to help those who struggle to make good times on Tatooine's and Manaan's race circuits. They don't come cheap, but they are certainly a great asset for any aspiring swoop racing champion.

  4. K1's Ebon Hawk animated texture

This modification replaces one static KotOR's Ebon Hawk textures (LEH_scre02) with an upscaled, animated one.
Realized in collaboration with Sith Holocron, Dark Hope and Selphadur.

  5. [K1] Sensible Star Forge Respawning

This small modification nerfs considerably the number of respawning waves of enemies on the second and third deck of the Star Forge.
Some players, myself included, believe that the original amount is way too much.

  6. [KotOR] Pazaak Fixes&Tweaks

In an attempt to salvage some material from the now defunct SW:KotOR Upgrade project, I have decided to share this modification with the community.
The basic idea is to allow players that dislike profoundly to reload upon losing Pazaak matches to have a better chance at winning.
In KotOR, the player is unfairly forced to start each round of Pazaak, favoring considerably the AI. While I could not remedy this injustice, I could work around it by redesigning the three Pazaak decks that the AI uses against the player to counterbalance the odds.
Winning is still hard and mostly a luck-based matter. It is made actually more difficult because most opponents now do require the player to win more than they have (as opposed to the original fixed amount of times) in order to unlock the dialogue about running out of funds. And when they do wage their cards but end up winning, they would play for credits again. Thus the need of nerfing considerably the value of the AI's cards.
In the process, a number of bugs have been corrected and improvements to the dialogues have been made.
More can be read in the included Read Me file.
    Enjoy!
