That's the problem. I did start a new save, completely new character and when I tried to craft some field survival pistols for atton on peragus, I saw it still had the precise shot feats and such. This was after I dragged the said files from backup to override folder. I'm sure there was a way to get it to work without doing a fresh install, but it didn't seem that the backup files that were created were working as intended.
Good idea/concept, but poor execution in terms of balance. Started off early game with a blaster carbine that dealt 7-18 at lv 2 that has access to improved rapid shot. Even if I were to get this at lv 10, it would be strong as it also diverts the need to invest in feats other than two weapon fighting/dueling/close combat which is an insane buff. And considering kotor 2 already makes blaster builds arguably stronger than melee, the buffs (intentional or otherwise) seem vastly unnecessary and detract from what the mod wants to accomplish.
I understand some mods don't use balance as the main drive, but its hard to appreciate/enjoy the nuance of how the feats are balanced among different guns when you just 1 shot everything regardless.
BUG/ISSUE: by following the uninstallation process by just dragging backup files back into override still leaves craftable weapons with the feats and such.
Edit: Had to do a clean reinstall of entire game.
Thanks for the mod! Just tested for TSL that difficulties past Difficult (Choke & Horror) don't have correct skill requirement DC's and actually have lower than Difficult. (For example, picking a lock at Difficult was 26DC vs horror + choke's 21DC). Thus, choke and horror gives less xp for skill checks. Not sure if this also affects dialogue checks and xp rewards.
