When asking Jorran about the Laigreks in the Enclave sublevel he still has a couple of lines saying there are rumors of them getting smarter, setting traps, locking doors and throwing grenades—insisting he's not making this up. This is a leftover from the cut quest. The salvagers talk about this as well in one of their barks.
