  1. I agree. It was disappointing when half of the Disciple's character assets were rushed and removed. There are a lot of in-game cut scenes on the Ebon Hawk that hints to these assets, but none of them made a difference because the content was already removed or simply not developed. I'm happy to know that there's new content being developed for the Disciple, and I'm sure it will help restore his character to a fair degree.
  2. Hey, thanks guys! The Nvida GFX Guide really did help fix my copy of KotOR II. The loadscreen does not crash anymore. It turned out that Threaded Optimization in my Nvidia control panel was set to "AUTO" and that was causing the load-screen issues. Following that guide, I set it to "OFF" and unchecked the "read-only" property in my KotOR II directory. Afterwards, I tested KotOR II out to see if anything was fixed. I was very happy to see that the game didn't crash anymore at the Load Menu screen. Thanks Sith Holocron for that guide, and thanks Nedan for the link to the multi-core fix and the step by step guide you posted. If it weren't for you two, I probably would never gotten this technical problem fixed. Again, thank you.
  3. Hi, it didn't work. I've done as you posted. I created a shortcut of my KotOR II.exe onto my desktop, changed the target box to include "high/affinity/1" but the moment I select "Load Game" from the main menu, the game still crashes immediately. As you can see, the line high affinity is included. The location of my kotor2.exe file is C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\SWKotOR2. What I am confused about is if I'm missing other text in the target box. For instance, I took a look at that Lucasforum thread, and I saw a different target box setup from mines. Did I do something wrong in applying the multi-core fix?
  4. Hello, and good-day. I've been having problems with my copy of KotOR II (Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords). First, I would like to say that KotOR II works well for the most part. There are no graphic hiccups, no sound issues, nothing. However, there is a major glitch that prevents me from being able to play the game. The glitch has the load-screen, on the main-menu, freeze. What I mean by this, is that the game crashes immediately whenever I click on "Load Game" from the main menu. I have a video that demonstrates this problem. You should find it in Attachments. My system specs are as follows: Processor: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS Clock Speed: 2399 MHz Physical Memory: (In other-words: A RAM) 3.99 GB VRAM: 512 MB Graphic Card Driver Version: 301.42 Sound Adapter: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) Sound Driver Version: 6.0.1.5657 Operating System: Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium (64 bit) Direct X Version: DirectX 10.0 (Aug2009) or later I have reinstalled KotOR II a number of times and it never worked. If anyone can help on how to fix this issue then please post a solution on this thread. KotOR II ScreenProblem.wmv
  5. I never made a mention to Atton Rand in my previous post, and would understand all the basic flaws, and confusion for him to end up in a Force Cage if he fleed from Sion. However, I do want to make a nod that it was originally intended for him (Atton) to end up in a Force Cage if he lost the battle against Darth Sion. Thank you. =)
  6. I'm not exactly sure of anyone spoke of this before, and I am rather lazy to search through past threads; so I've decided to simply come out, and ask a question to the members (both the Modding Team, and the fans) of Deadly Stream. On Malachor V, Darth Stony, and CO restored much of the Cut-Content that was previously founded in that section of the game. While I do enjoy most of them, one aspect of Restored Cut-Content that truly does boggle my mind is the non-interactive Party Member Prisoner thing going on in Traya's Academy. For those who are unfamiliar with what I'm talking about, then let me specifically explain. In Traya's Academy, she (Kreia) presents you (The Exile) a choice as you walk in; either save your fellow friends (Party Members) from being hostage, or directly go towards the Core of the Academy, and confront Traya. What I did was, was the former of the two options, and I was disappointed in the sense that no matter what you do at the Computer Terminal, (Poison them, Dark Side style, Rescue them, Light Side style) you will always see a black/white camera video of your Party Members escaping their prisons; leaving you (The Exile) unable to have any form of interaction with them. No Dialogue, no Conversation, nothing. I don't want to bring up the Subject of TSLRP because of potential arguments, and Flame-Wars that could arise over nothing; but I wanted to share their 2006 Christmas Trailer: Pause at 1 minute, and 6 seconds (1:06). Do you see Mical in the Forge Cage? And do you see how it's possible to interact with him, even though it's simply a 3 second scene of that trailer? I want to know why this wasn't included in TSLRCM v1.07, and I want to know if it's a glitch on my part. For any miscellaneous play-through details that I may not have covered, please read further blow. I had a low influence with Handmaiden, so low that she got jealous of my relationship with Visas, and didn't talk to me over the course of the game. I had a potentially romantic one with Visas, that I managed to trigger that "Look upon us" scene. In the Ravenger, I sacrificed Visas for the greater good, and escaped with only Mandalore. On Malachor V, only Mira (she defeated Hanharr), Atton (He defeated Sion), and the Handmaiden survived. Only two (Handmaiden, and Mira) went into the Forge Cages. Was it my play-through that made them non-interactive within the Prison Chambers? Or do you suppose it was a Glitch, a Bug, or a crappy installation on my part? Please do reply sincerely. Thanks again. ~ IsoEnt/Rev411
  7. The best type of Strategy Guide you can get for the criteria you listed, is right here: http://lparchive.org/Knights-of-the-Old-Republic-II/ A general, all purpose Guide, which lists, and talks about various Cut-Content from the game, and even posts specific subject of the major ones (M4-78, HK-Factory, etc). A warning though; foul language is indeed written inside the Guide, and it isn't Spoiler-Free. Read at your own risk.
  8. In TSLRCM, Version 1.7, how does one activate the HK-51's at the end of the factory?

I'm sorta stuck in this position, as it's not giving me a clear... option on activating them.
