Yeah, I got Rece's tutorials saved on Chrome to help me, his tutorials are very informative and pretty easy to follow.
-
Yeah, that would be tedious to try to do. I'll experiment around with the tools and see what I can come up with. Thank you for letting me know Kexi, I had no idea the lightsabers worked like that.
-
Both actually, creating custom hilts for lightsabers is just my first type of mod that I want to do. Also, thanks for providing the tools Scream! Dang, really? I was really looking into trying to replicate this mod for K1 for my own use since Jorn doesn't mod anymore and has left his mods available for editing http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/3273-schematic-lightsaber-mod-slm/ if hilts are dependent on color, is it possible to map a few hilts to a single color or would there be conflict?
-
Hello everyone! So I want to pick up modding for K1 and TSL, however, I don't know where to start. I have never modded before so this is all new to me but I wanted to give it a shot. A mod I had in particular that I wanted to create is one that would put in more lightsaber colors for K1 as well as attainable custom hilts for lightsabers (since the shiny cylinders just aren't doing it for me). As such, I had a few things I wanted to ask to help jumpstart me on modding: 1. What programs will I need in order to start modding K1/TSL? 2. Are there any good tutorials out there that can teach me the how-to for modding K1/TSL? I'll take any advice/help I can get, thank you in advance!!!

Update: So I followed Super's instructions for installing SLM and they seemed to have worked. I got up to the Polar Academy without anything going wrong. The scene when you leave the Ithorian compound for the first time triggered like it was supposed to, and the Mysterious attacker after talking to Grenn about the black-market quest was a Duro and not one of my player heads. Thank you so much for the help Super!

What version of the game do you have? Steam, GOG, or 4-dusk CD?
-
Ok, I'll install them in that order then start a new playthrough to see if any of the random bugs happen again
-
1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur? On Telos, after I finished talking to Chodo Habbat and while later, after I accept the black-market investigation quest from Grenn 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? (1.8.5 and 1.2 respectively) We only provide assistance for the most current version of those mods. Yes 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? 4-CD Version 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (4-CD version ONLY) Yes, I had 1.0b installed 5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file? Nope, freshly installed Kotor II then the mods 6) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) I'll attach a notepad file with all the mods installed in the order I install them (its a long list) 7) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? On Telos, after I finished talking to Chodo Habbat and accepted the quest to retrieve the droid from their hangar bay, before I even got out of the room Chodo is in, the scene that plays when you leave the compound for the first time was instantly triggered while I was still in the room. A while later, after I talked to Grenn about the black market shipment and agreeing to help investigate, I leave the TSF station to find not the mysterious Duro attacker waiting for me, but one of the model heads I installed. FIrst time it happened, it was the Bastila's mature look PC head, after I uninstalled those files and reloaded it, it became another head mod I had installed. I have the same head mod on my gaming PC files of KOTOR 2 and never had this issue, however, since I've installed it on my laptop with different mods, the issues have started to happen. 8) Have you tried re-downloading/re-installing the mod? Multiple times, also freshly reinstalling the game all together 9) Have you tried using a different save game? No, this was my first playthrough 10) Have you tried starting a new game? No 11) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) Windows 10 12) Can you confirm that you see the TSLRCM logo on the the main menu screen? Yes, the TSLRCM logo appears as usual Side Note: Pretty sure its a mod conflict with that doesn't involve TSLRCM, however, I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Also, if this is in the wrong section, can a moderator please move it to the right section, thank you. EDIT: Also gonna post the AR_error log I found in my AppData, there's a few things there. Current Mod List.txt AR_ERROR.txt

They really haven't dug deep into how the Jedi knew about the rule of two. I think that at the end of TPM, Yoda and Mace Windu were talking about the Sith and Yoda said there's always 2 Sith, a master and an apprentice, though they didn't know which one was killed by Obi-wan. Besides that, I don't believe there's anything else to that unless I'm missing something.

EDIT: Danil helped me resolve my issue, for anyone having the same error as I had, its because the installer is trying to copy files that are "read-only". To resolve this issue, go into your game folder under your profile folder, go to the properties tab of your Module, Override, and StreamVoice folders (right-click on the folders then click on properties at the bottom), and unchecked the "read-only attribute at the bottom then hit apply then ok. If you want, you could also bring up the properties tab on your actual SwKotor2 program file and uncheck "read only" and apply it so that every folder is unchecked just to speed up the process rather than go through each folder.Afterwards, the installer will work perfectly (thanks again Danil ).

Gonna have to agree with what the majority of others have said here already, the title does feel a tab bland considering how much "The Last [insert title here]" is being overused (looking at you Transformers). Hopefully, however, the movie will be great.

Hello! First off, thank you for restoring these endings, I've read on different forums about some of the endings being missing like the male Exile-Atris line that Kreia says as well as the "Follow Revan" option. However, I'm having in issue with installing this mod. I keep getting this error below when I try to install it: Installation started 1/21/2017 2:26:22 PM... • Installing unmodified files... • Replacing file 904kreia.dlg in the Modules\904mal.mod archive... • Replacing file a_endsls.ncs in the Modules\904mal.mod archive... • Replacing file end_game.dlg in the Modules\904mal.mod archive... • Replacing file 904atton.dlg in the Modules\904mal.mod archive... • Adding file 904904kreia096.lip to the lips\904MAL_loc.mod archive... • Error: Unhandled exception: Access violation at address 00000033. Read of address 00000033 (0) The only mods I have installed at the time of this are TSLRCM 1.8.5 and M4-78 1.2.4 plus I've had the install.exe and tslpatch folder extracted to a separate folder instead of being directly extracted to my game folder. Any help would be appreciated, really want to try these endings out for myself, thanks!
