You are opening the edited uti file, with File -> Open GFF files?
Thank you for the tips, but it still didn't work. I modify the uti file in my override, put the three new files in, load a save from before I got the Echani Fiber Armor, and it still keeps it's old appearance. I'm at my wits end, here. I don't know if I'm making something complicated out of what's not, but I don't think that's possible. This is why I gave up on this four years ago.
And when I open KOTOR Tool and click File -> Open GFF files, the Global Templates Folder in KOTOR Tool, it's empty. Is it supposed to be like that?
EDIT: I had to cheat it in, but I got it to work. I saved right before I solved the puzzle to open the box it was in. -
I tried this and it didn't work. I renamed the files "ia_class4_015.tga", "PFBC15.tga", "PMBC15.tga." Then I went into KOTOR TOOL and found the "g_a_class4009.uti" file and changed the texture variation to "15." I was promted to save and I chose to put it in my override folder. Then I put the other files in the Override folder.
I launched the game and loaded a saver where I had the Echani Fiber armor equipped and it didn't change in appearance.
I tried clicking on the file in KOTOR Tool again and it still shows Texture Variation = 2 instead of '15'.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Also, I'm using Effixian's Taris Arena Charges with this. It shouldn't conflict but it makes more combat suits that use the same model.

I'm planning on using JC's cloaked Jedi Robes mods(JC's Fashion Line I, JC's Jedi Tailor, Korriban: Back in Black, and Dark Jedi Wear Robes) along with your mods. Would any be incompatible?

The mod's main logo can be found here:
Once an Admin approves the mod, it shall be found via this here link: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2310-k2-to-k1-clothing-pack/
I would also like to subtly hint at one of my next mods for the series, those who can translate the following should get a pretty big idea of what it might entail!

Good work as usual. Oh and will you be restoring the Outcast children, Shuma the Hutt, and the Echani Mercenary in the Manaan Cantina? I'd like to see those three restored.
And I figured out the message. -
QuoteSo you mentioned the K1 Enhancement Project yet you list RedRob's Echani Head reskin.
I noticed that the K1 Enhancement Project also had some Echani commoner heads.

Might I suggest giving the Echani mercenaries the Echani heads found in this mod? Or the ones SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement project? And since your mod isn't compatibl with K1 Restoration, I'd like to see the Echani Mercenary in the Manaan Cantina restored(the one that won't talk to you if you have Canderous in your party).
I'd also like to see the Outcast children in the Undercity and Shuma the Hutt on Dantooine.

I've found the files and the icon I want for a reskin/retexture of the Echani Fiber Armor found on Taris. But I can't simply place them into my override folder because I'm also using Efixian's Taris Arena Changes. The icon and files that I found are from SpaceAlex's Unfinished K1 Enhancement Project.
What do I do now? I'm thinking I would need TSL Patcher to make a mod for this, but that may not be the case. I've never modded before, so this would be my first. Help would be appreciated! -
Yes! VarsityPuppet's Mod is exactly what I was talking about!
Oh and what about JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes and Revan's Hoodless/Maskless Robes mod? -
Another thing I like is Ebmar's Ajunta Pall mod. Is that compatible? What about K1R?
And you and EAF97 should really work together. He has some great ideas and the screenshots of his NPC overhaul mod look promising!
-
Good updates as usual. Oh and a comment about the Sith Governor Mod: Does the Sith Governor still drop the "Governor's Robe" and the "Sith War Sword?" I hope he does.
And are you still working on the Gameplay Enhancement Mod?

You have to get only half the evidence before making the judgement for him to say it, which is why you wouldn't have heard it.
The line's not actually in error; in the original XBox version Bolook was green. He was swapped to orange in the PC version, presumably for variety, but whoever made the change obviously didn't see that line either.
As in you need to get half the evidence and make the judgement? That explains why I never hear it since I always get all the evidence before I accuse both of them.

"Ironically Master Bolook--who supervises the trial side-quest on Dantooine--is mentioned as "green" at one point but is actually orange."
I've played KOTOR many times and have never come across this line. Can someone point me to it?

4 hours ago, EAF97 said:Yes there's a difference, although it's worth noting a few things:
1) The Jedi Temple on Coruscant was only established a few decades prior after their main temple on Ossus was destroyed in the Great Sith War. This new temple on Coruscant was the same temple at the time of the prequels but it took centuries to get to the point of where it was in the movies.
2) The Jedi weren't very popular at this time and Dantooine seemed to be more of a private place where the Jedi were able to go while Coruscant was more where they handled public relations b/c of their relationship with the Republic government
3) All the Jedi even on the high council knew about Dantooine and visited there at various times. They all seem to be reminiscing that it's "not what it once was" when the group of them gather at the end of Kotor 2. Not to mention at least one of them--Vrook Lamar--seemed to hold membership in both councils.
4) Bastila seems rather shaken when Dantooine's enclave is destroyed b/c she acts like there's no hope left. You'd think she'd rest more easy in terms of the long run if the main Jedi force was in fact on Coruscant
5) It's mentioned in Kotor 2 that Atris' primary target for saving relics was Dantooine. Later if you mention her survival to the jedi masters, one of them says, "it's good she survived since she has most of the Jedi knowledge." This hints that Dantooine was actually where the Jedis' main assets were but that Coruscant at the time was most likely their main "public" area they established to have a relationship with the Republic.
I like to think at this time, the Coruscant masters are just visiting, possibly to give input on Revan's re-training.

And would you also consider putting the Jedi Masters from KOTOR II into the Jedi Enclave? My point is, you two should work together.

I downloaded the mod and it's great! But I do have a bug to report: The bronze crystal cannot be placed in a lightsaber for some reason. And was I supposed to find that in a lightsaber? I have a suggestion that you place a bronze lightsaber on the "Chewed Human Corpse" inside the Krayt Dragon Cave.

It worked! Thank you Darth Parametric! Will this do anything to any other textures or outfits?

I use an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960. To make the game not crash all the time, I had to type "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" into the Swkotor configuration settings file.

Chris Avellone is writing for Jedi: Fallen Order at least.

If that doesn't work, you may have a GPU that doesn't support envmaps (Intel?), in which case the only solution is to delete the alpha channel from the textures, which will prevent the transparency.
Which row is that? I'm using the Mullet Man head. Also, I think I've tried this before and it didn't work. I do have an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz

I am trying to put a new texture onto the Star Forge Robes but the metallic parts(chest and bracers) are always translucent no matter what I texture I use. I've tried using ZimmMaster's "Revan's Jedi Robes' texture for the Star Forge Robes and I also tried using jonathan7 and Sithspecter's 'Revan's Robes Revisioned' textures, but this came with the same problem. Also, I tried putting the CM_baremetal txi file that was inlcluded in DarthParametric's mod, but this did nothing.
I have downloaded other mods(including the K1 Restoration Mod) but none of them modify Revan's robes in any way. So this shouldn't be happening.
How can I make the chest and bracers non-transparent?

It's good that you feel this way. I love your Legends series of character reskins and am excited to see more! I'd suggest Xor next. He should be human, but have a unique appearance. Same with Jagi, Sunry, and other named characters. SpaceAlex already made unique heads for many of these, and I wouldn't mind if you just used those.

This is sounding like more trouble than it's worth...I'll leave modding to the experts.

Thank you JC! You're one of my favorite modders and I've downloaded plenty of your mods.
I tried doing this, but I ended up with the Republic Mod Armor's Default model with the new texture. Also, the icon did not change.

I am trying to alter the appearance of two armors, Echani Fiber Armor and Republic Mod Armor using assets from SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement pack, but I don't know what files to drop into Override to make it work. I put in the texture files and the .mdl and mdx. files, but this did nothing. What am I doing wrong? I'd like to know because I want to reskin more armor sets.

Can someone please reskin/retexture the Echani Fiber armor to look like these files? I've tried it myself and nothing I did worked.
