  1. Mods I had on my "old" install of KOTOR2 don't seem to take effect with the Steam version. They are in folders within Override (just as they were before). For instance, I'm testing with the fixed proficiency / feat icons (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/420-tsl-fixed-proficiencyfocus-feat-icons/) just since I can see those in the character creation screen, and it did not take effect. Any ideas? EDIT: Okay, well, that was obviously a bad choice as it is an unnecessary mod with TSLRCM now. But, I have the Peragus-OTE retexture and it does not seem to be taking effect either.
  2. Sorry for the potato quality picture, but I feel this is a poorly worded tooltip. It occurs during the boarding of the Ebon Hawk at the end of Peragus when you try to enter the sealed storage compartment in the Ebon Hawk. It reads "This door has been sealed as soon as the interior of the Hawk was breached and will not open." Maybe it's just the "has been" that makes it sound clumsy, and replacing it with "was" would fix it.
  3. Can regular KOTOR2 mods still be installed in the "Override" folder of the Steam version?
  4. Does the Steam version come with the hi-res music / movies standard? Just bought the game for the convenience of Steam + to show my support. Great job everyone!
  5. Out of curiosity, does anything different happen if I do not "repair" the damaged HK protocol droid at the Telos military base and instead repair him later as HK before I enter the sublevel?
  6. I just started playing KOTOR1 again and I am having great difficulty getting the UI to not be microscopic. Even with an unmodified 1.03 EXE, when running the game at 1600x1200 I get the tiny icons & tiny menus of the 800x600 resolution. I also tried UniWS to patch to 1920x1200 (1024x768 interface) according to this guide, along with the patched GUI files in the Override folder, without success - I do get the widescreen resolution, but the GUI is still too small for my liking. I also tried the "Flawless Widescreen" utility without success - that one didn't even yield a widescreen resolution. I'm running KOTOR1 1.03 patched + K1R 0.9 beta on Windows 8.1 64-bit. I run the game in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode with administrative rights. I would prefer widescreen + non microscopic GUI if possible, but just 1600x1200 with a decently sized GUI would be fine too. I appreciate any help.
  7. I was able to load an autosave (odd - I thought I had already tried one) and then afterwards a manual save. Thanks for the assistance everyone!
  8. 4CD I unset read only on the "Override" folder. No help. I also cannot load the autosave.
  9. I have tried that several times with no success, unfortunately.
  10. Any save game I try to load get stuck at about 2/3rds loaded. I have tried four save games, all have the same problem. I have TSLRCM 1.8.3 + M4-78 EP (patched) and the HQ music / movies packs installed with no other mods. The saves were working fine several days ago. I'm running Windows 8.1 64-bit with the game running as administrator and in XP SP3 compatibility mode, and the game is not installed in the "Program Files (x86)" directory. I am able to start a new game without a problem. Is there anything else I can try to have my save games load properly? I can attach a save game if that will help somebody discover the root of the problem.
