While I appreciate the logo idea, since it has the ebon hawk in it I cant actually make any merchandise as I dont own that IP. As far as the website, at this point I am not in a rush to overhaul anything. But there are plans for an overhaul in the future. The near future plan is just to get more content posted, improve SEO and improve Premium membership offerings.

Oh and @kate, i am not a big nexus mods user, can you show me what you are talking about in regards to the picture sharing idea.

No pyjamas then?!? Oh darn it Still I would buy a few T-Shirts and a coffee mug or water bottle. Still these things are expensive and you don't want to get stuck with them. I would buy a few black pre washed cotton t-shirts for my brothers and I. That shouldn't be too much of an expense and it is probably the easiest to sell.

Memberships: You should consider offering a lifetime membership.  If you were to offer my a lifetime option and allow me to upgrade I would buy it right now. So if the life time is 80$ and you took into account my current 20$ dollar membership  I would happily upgrade it for 60$ today.

Nexus Picture share: It is and has been my opinion that the success of the Nexus has always been it's "Image Share" which allows all users to upload and save unlimited pictures but limited to only 5 uploads per day. (I don't think this is actually necessary and more like a waste of resources. I believe the feature would be just as popular and successful if they only saved the last 100 pics a user uploaded. Premium members would get unlimited. I think they could even make it to the last 50 pics get saved and it wouldn't make any difference. i myself erase my pics once I notice that no one is commenting on them or that I just don't like them any more.) Actually the first things you see on any Nexus game page are the featured mods on top (most recent popular ones) and then below that are the rest of the Latest Mods and underneath that are the Latest Images. It is right there in your face. People go nuts for these image shares that they call themselves "Screen Archers" or people that practice "Screenarchery!" They even have a Basic Tutorial for screenarchery that although I haven't read it I am sure it goes over the rules and a list of screenarchery mods to use. There are hundreds of mods made just for taking pictures. I know because I have been using them for years

I am disappointed that I am unable to use this must have mod but where there is smoke there is fire. If this is causing problems in one area it can also be causing problems in others; Improved AI by Stoffe (AKA RevanAnt) - While this mod mostly works, it cause some problems with one scene on Nar Shaddaa (you might be unable to select a third teammember during a cutscene so have to do some hard battles with just Bao-Dur and Atton).

I am all ready to install these. Awaiting your orders admiral.

There's a very simple fix for this. Enable V-Sync in the options.

I like simple fixes, I will double check to see if it on. It should since I am following my own install instructions I wrote on another forum a few years back

Checking now... Fixed, thank you. It seems that all my advanced settings were reset or I forgot to reset them after installing the TSLRCM. Either way I feel better now. Cheers.

New install, patched and I see the tslrcm logo. No mods. Ep not installed yet.

I have had this error/bug with 3 different test characters. What happens is that after I kill a mining droid I get stuck and can't move. It doesn't matter how I kill them (laser or sword or force power) I am forc3ed to save and reload where the droids then disappear and I can move again. It is even happening sometimes with the droid on peragus. Obviously this is very very frustrating havinfg to constantly reload after every battle. This is making the game unplayable. Just to save Rand out of the prison I was forced to reload 5 times. I played the droid until the part when HK-50 shoots him and I had to reload once right before the final elevator .

*It seems that when I get stuck and I am able to click with my mouse cursor on something to activate then I will become unstuck sometimes.

After every step of the install process I have done a test run and it seems that the problem has gotten worse with each major step. (Game install, patch, tslrcm)

Any ideas.

Quick question as I am installing this game while trying to size some dds files in photoshop;

Umm... ya so I have updated and installed the tslrcm correctly but in the install instructions on the main page the next step says to install tslrcm compatible mods now and said there was a list in the forums. No link? Ok no biggie, *humph*    So my question now is; when do I install the  m4-78ep? If I install some compatible mods do I then install the EP and if I install the EP can I still add other mods later? This last part of the install instructions are unclear.

I did play through the beginning to test it out and watch the updated videos and listen to the new sound. I did find that my PC got stuck a few times after killing a droid. I just saved and restarted but it was a lil annoying. I don't remember having this bug but then again my last play through was on my old winXP rig. Has anyone else come across this?

WoW This thread is a thread of memories. Nov 2012 was the day I tripped over this place. I remember reading a new thread in a private Oblivion modding forum and the member was playing KOTOR2 and an ealier version of the tslrcm. I eagerly waited for new posts and pics until one day he mentioned that he was stuck some where in the game. Well that was the day I posted on his thread, unstucked him ;D and then made the fateful decision to ask him about this carazy mod he was using that completed the game. I remembered the days of project Gizka and the waiting... the disappointment. When I learned that there was a mod that actually did what I thought could never be done... well you can only imagine my excitement!

The link he provided brought me here and the next day I went to my brothers house and asked him where his kotor games were. Before you knew it I was opening old boxes in his basement and BINGO I found them. I took them home, came online and created an account as well as this thread on the same day! Three years ago I got to play my favourite game again to completion and loved it.

My participation is streaky at best. I come and go because I am not a hard core gamer. I work full time which includes a lot of travelling and I have a lot of family obligations, not to mentions friends and my dogs... I can only play one game at a time so I hop from game to game and forum to forum. Just reading through this small thread I can see my installs, some set up mistakes and utter failures such as my last attempt to play the new EP. That never got done. My gaming rig at the time was on it's last gears and I bought a used gaming rig to replace my fantastic old one that allowed me to play my games at very high settings which I paid practically nothing for. 200 bucks and it did the job but I wanted more. So I slowly saved some money and bought the parts online and asked my brother in law to put it together for me. I can now play any game on ultra setting enjoy taking vids and pics of my adventures sometimes.

What I really enjoy is mingling with other people who also have a passion for the game I enjoy. I have been a member of many forums. Some good, few great and mostly poor. This place is the perfect forum. It has and follows it's rules, follows the strict copyright protection laws as they should regarding porting of assets from other games but they also are very flexible and fair with their membership. When it comes to gaming forums this place is one of the best run places I have come across in my surfing travels.  It is always a pleasure coming here.

I can only speak to the games and mods I have played, but since that fateful day in November 2012 and my completion of the tslrcm 1.8.1, I have never stopped my proclamation that it is by far the greatest modding achievement in gaming history. To this day I continue spreading the word.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is that Dia-noga and I thank you for all the fun this place provides. You guys are the real Jedi Knights and this forum stands as the real Coruscant.

You should have a contest to design the new pyjamas  ... t-shirt.

Just make sure that the T-shirts are high quality and pre washed. Also that they come in more than just one colour.

I don't mind paying more money if; 1) it is a quality item that won't shrink and be unwearable after one mistake in the drying machine; 2) that I know the high cost of the quality item is because the profits are going into the update/upkeep of the forum itself.

So I have to say that your presence on Nexusmods is practically ZERO. I am no fan of the Nexus, Darkone or his lacky vampire dante but it is just so easy to find mods there. They have a real good working picture share where people actually hang out every day and post their pics. The first thing I did when I installled Fallout New Vegas was take a pic and introduce myself on the Nexus New Vegas picture share because that is the quickest way to meet people and ask qustions about the mods the use in their pics... It is basically Free Advertising! In every gaming forum I am a member of there is a  thread called, "what is thi mod" where member post pics and ask questions like; "what is that hair? what is that armour, clothing?..." stuff like that. 90% of the pics are from the nexus picture share of whatever game they host.

Imagine if I install the game (like I am doing now) and I go to the nexus image share and (like I see IS is doing and plan to join him very soon) and start talking to people about the mods I got from Deadly Stream. You know I have already mentioned this place on the New Vegas picture when I uploaded my goodbye picture and I got a real good reaction when I said goodbye and explained that I am off to play KOTORTSLRCMM4-78EP. Believe it or not  some people knew what I was even talking about. I got 3 PMs from people talking about their game and asking where they could get it.

I am sure there is a good reason why your two brilliant DLC type mods are not there and I don't want to presume anything however, maybe you should be

Following the install post I have a question about step #7; "...by If you have them, you can also install the enhanced movie (only recommended for monitors with a vertical resolution of 1200 or higher; don't bother otherwise) and music files for KotOR 2 (available on the same site as the official patches) at this time."

I have never done this step before and I these files are not located on the page. Can somebody please provide links and maybe update the install guide post? I tried to search for them but to no avail. My install is now in limbo

Hmmm... I never had those problems with the fighter guild quests. You must have done something in-perfect but I really wouldn't worry about it XDD

Umm... ya in the mages guild quest it is a bug that it is still tresspassing but since the room isn't used by anybody really you never get in trouble for it. Btw, if you have notices in the skingrad house you are also tresspassing in rosethorn manor (even if you own it) when you go on the balcony and sometimes  (rarely) the gaurd may see you and come arrest you in the house. hehehe

I always wanted to install MMM but never got around to it because I have used childrens anuad and I am now using Monster Girl which basically does the same thing and these two mods are newer, using newer resources and modding techniques (ie newer obse scripts and other) Monster Girl is right now in the last stages of beta and is cureently being cleaned with TES4edit.

My next install will be a OOO and Frans set up using  all of the Better Cities and Unique landscape mods with Qarl's Texture Pack 3 and QTP 3 Redimized. *** This is the Rolls Royce set up of Oblivion*** and when it is complete I will then think about adding MMM.

When I do that I will link the instructions for people who want the best Oblivion set up and have the hardware to run it.

I am kinda finishing my Oblivion play as I am into Morrowind and starting Kotor2 again now.

This looks to be very interesting - I'm not sure how they're going to have current games compatible with it, but I'll keep watching it (the main Steam news I'm waiting for is the announcement fo the Halo trilogy (haven't heard good things about Reclaimer) - it's bound to happen, and I'm thinking June).

Well if what they are saying is true, Valve and steam are going head to head against Microsoft and want to destroy them and take down play station too. I don't understand you other comment on your page that said microsoft is going to steam. I don't think that is ever going to happen. Steam and Valve are setting themselves up as a competitor to Microsoft. They are anti microsoft since win8 came out and it is why steam and valve came together from what I have read. I have been following this for a while. You can find all the articals that have been written about this on the verge link. They have a special page that has real time updates on this whole story and you can go back and read every update.

I just use Windows own Movie Maker to compress FRAPS movies to sizable parts.

Of course I just use the free FRAPS and thus maximum 30s parts.

 

As for $16, it´s cheaper on Steam ($10 when not on sale, which makes it even cheaper)

WoW the future of gaming without windows live? F*CK YEAH! I have been waiting years for Linux to come of age. Linux has been used by the military and banking institutions and telephone companies but this really is a white light shining the into the future.

I hope this means that the future of gaming tower PCs will start to climb again so the pricing comes down. I also hope that I can start to use a Linux OS again to play KOTOR 1&2, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skirim and other video games.

If you're using Fraps, get VirtualDub and the Xvid codec - by default, videos are saved to about 4 GB, so you'll need them to compress the files without losing qualit.

Yes it is "sides" replacer for the Rosethorn house. Although when I used it years ago in medium textures I losttoo much fps and it didn't funtion properly but now that I can play in large textures I use all of his replacers. The way Oblivions engine works is if you are using a mod with large textures and your game is set at medium textures then the game will automatically change it to medium textures and if the mod dosen't come with medium textures then that's when you notice the heavy lag and stuttering and  bad stuff- eventually ctds...

I have been playing ALAnonimUBANGA_0_98_3_VIP_EN_PL by ALAnonim http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/42121/? that adds a huge (as large as oblivion if not larger) new landscape/world to explore but like most extra landscape mods it is done only in large textures. That means in medium or less you can't really play it without the LOD all messed up. Basically the mountains will change colours like a rainbow until you come right to it.

Anyhoos this mod is a beauty. It is like Morrowind and Oblivion combined with the best parts of each. Check out the pictures on the mod page and you'll see how stunning this place is. Fantasy heaven XD

I'm using this one here: link. Had to get a RF version of the female texture as well, although I found that before I actually found the page for the race. I actually edited the textures myself a little bit, adding the markings from the "Dea Obscura" race.(which I would use that race mod, but it seems to have an issue - both times I've tested it, I've seen the "Script Effect" icon disappear, so that every spell that uses it, has no icon next to it). Slof has a download of PSD's for her "Better Bodies" mod, which included the textures for the DO markings(although the Better Bodies mod only deals with the vanilla races, alongside the three from SI).

I was thinking about trying to add the hairs to the race that the Nexus page and the readme priovides instructions for, but I decided not to. I do already have Apachii's wig mod, although I didn't grab one for Lunae(just went with and kept one of the vanilla hairstyles).

That is the Moonshadow race but if you install MBP++ you get a lop ear moonshadow elf option. I posted an OBMM version earlier in this thread where you get like 20 new races.

Anyhoos... why don't you share your textures here so I can try them hmm... That would be nice lol

It won't conflict with anything to do with the dark brotherhood. All the mod does is add a chest. I'm sure it will be fine. The mod changes the clothes for every faction except the dark brotherhood. It gives each faction unique armor and it addds a room in the mages bedroom.

I'll try to find a link for you for the hi rez skin textures. You have like six choices. They are awesome.
