update: new guide will not include Morrowind Rebirth. It is just not compatible with... ANYTHING! And not having Vurts beautiful grass is depressing. I like the mod and the vision the author has but it is out.

MNEM is being tested.

The Symphony is also being tested.

As of January 2016 this guide is being re-written by "Psijonica" that will include a section on Tamriel Rebuilt and Morrowind Rebirth and MNEM. It will may or may not include MGSO 3.0. The mods included in mgso will most likely be replaced by better and modern mods manually.

I will be posting her  new guide excerpts  here when she sends them to me.

Oh wow. That link and tool looks to be fairly new. Interestingly  this blog post was an agmalgamtion of several other blog posts I wrote over the last couple of years. Every now and then I update it and make corrections. Thank you for you comment and participation. I will look into this new information and update the blog accordingly.

I am sure most of you have already heard of the storm that erupted last Friday when Steam, Valve and Bethesda tested out their plan to monetize mods for Skyrim... well the TES modding community went nuts. Effectively shutting down Steam's servers and email systems. Yes it ended in a victory fr the Keep Mods Free side but for how long? The "potential revenue" that Steam used to persuade Bethesda must have been huge for Bethesdsa even to attempt changing what is the greatest modding community in the world.
