Icewolfer93 Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 So obviously KOTOR II is such an incredible game (faults and all) that you can never glean everything in the game in one playthrough. I have already completed this game once on the light side of the force and I'm now booting the game up again to play it. My question is, is how should I design my character and what choices should I make to get the most of the story? (light, dark...) (with TSLRCM) (like also how do you activate some of the restored content such as the HK Factory and etc...) Thanks! Quote
Guest Mablus25 Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Kotor 2 TSL is my favorite game I am still stuck on it. TSLRCM patches restores alot of stuff on Kotor 2 which I never seen and making the game more fun. Quote
MrPhil Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Okay, so basically, there are a lot more factors to TSL than being LS/DS and Male/Female. I'll try to cover some of them for you. The one you seemed to miss is defining Revan. Unlike Mass Effect, you cannot import a save. What is the link between K1 and K2 is the first conversation you get with Atton. You'll get to decide if Revan was male or female and if he gone dark or light side. After you activate Hk-47, you should speak to him about the sith lord you've encountered. Then, chase 3 hk-50 patrols, and you'll have access to the hk factory. This is espescially important if you choose the light side ending at Malachor V. Quote

So I've partially gotten past that point in the game (wondered why they would give you the option in KOTOR II when I first played it) I'm aiming towards the dark side for this playthrough and when I first released Atton I said Revan was a female who killed her way across the galaxy. How will this affect my game then? Quote

MrPhil Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 If you want to go DS, then you'll want Go-to to prevent remote from destroying Malachor V. And well, I think it does modify the atmosphere of the game to know that the greatest of heroes decided to grasp power... again! Quote
