Stuck on Malachor V Black Screen

Recommended Posts

I'm using TSLRCM and USM (although I haven't downloaded the patch for USM). Anyway, I'm on Malachor V and I enter the Trayus Academy and it loads, but then the screen goes black and it isn't the game crashing because I can still access the menus, but the screen is pitch black and the map looks pure white. Its weird and I can't get it to go away. Its especially weird since I'm pretty sure that my character shouldn't even be able to enter the academy since I think that its supposed to transfer over to Bao-Dur's remote or something just as she enters the academy, I don't know. Anyway, any help would be much appreciated.

This sounds similar to an event that happened to me the other day when trying to leave the Ebon Hawk on Dantooine after the Visas encounter, turned out the save file got corrupted somehow.

Other people on the board have said that this is a very rare glitch that you may not even experience in several plays.

Try restoring an earlier save and replaying the area and see what happens, I restored a save before entering the Ebon Hawk, replayed the fight and that cleared it up.

USM isn't compatible with TSLRCM 1.6...

If you have k_907_enter.ncs in your override folder, try to delete it and reload save before entering academy.

Thanks very much! I got rid of all of the _enter.ncs files and I haven't had anymore problems.

There is no "compatibility patch for USM" available to public yet. Not for current version anyway.
