Guest Astor Posted March 27, 2011 I've just finished a full playthrough of TSL with version 1.7, and all I can do is burble my thanks for this amazing mod, that finally provides some closure to the many fans of the game who've been repeatedly let down by TSLRP. You have done a truly epic job and you doubtless have the thanks of many thousands of others as well. While it must seem truly ungrateful to approach you with a request, I feel compelled. As brilliant as the game is with this mod installed, there are so many other small mods that while adding to the game are rendered incompatible by this one. Is there any chance of say, zbyls Admiral Onasi mod, or the Nar Shadaa skybox mod finding their way into this? After all, they are all within canon and can be considered cut content by virtue of lack of time to implement them. For me and all the techno illiterates out there, is there any chance of these mods being implemented in v 1.8?
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted March 27, 2011 Zbyl's Admiral Onasi mod? What? And since when is the NS Skybox incompatible?
Sith Holocron 2,479 Posted March 27, 2011 As brilliant as the game is with this mod installed, there are so many other small mods that while adding to the game are rendered incompatible by this one. Oh boy. Let's tackle the Skybox mod first. 1) The Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox by Sharen Thrawn is not cut content. It is NEW content created by Sharen Thrawn, not by Obsidian and not by the makers of TSLRCM. Sharen Thrawn has not given permission for anyone to include it in their mods and he hasn't been active in the modding scene for the longest time. As it's purely an aesthetic mod, it's up to the user to include it. (I personally do because it's such a well made mod.) 2) This mod is so easy to install that even I can install it. Unzip the file. Put those TGA files in the sub folder called "Override" in your KOTOR2 game folder. That's it! The read me file included with the mods states as much as well. 2) As far as I know, Zbyl never created a Admiral Onasi mod. Please provide a link to where this mod is so we may all see it. Unless you're talking about The Admiralty Mod by Kreia (AKA Jinger) - that's another story.
