Mandalore 61 Posted February 8, 2011 I'm trying to edit Kreia's dialogue to lower the prestige alignment requirements (so that the params read 15 40 50), I've got the right line, put in the numbers I want but the changes I've made don't stay. Any help would be appreciated.

Hassat Hunter 571 Posted February 8, 2011 You do realise 15 and 40 are Negative influence and 50 is pure Neutral? What exactly do you change? Also what do you mean with "changes don't stay"?
ttlan 18 Posted February 9, 2011 Perhaps trying to edit an old .dlg and not the one in TSLRCM ?
Mandalore 61 Posted February 9, 2011 You do realise 15 and 40 are Negative influence and 50 is pure Neutral? What exactly do you change? Also what do you mean with "changes don't stay"? I'm editing StrRef 118776, setting P2 to 40 and P3 to 50 so that I can get the prestige classes with a lower alignment score. I mean that when I change the values I said above, when I go to click on a different line, click back and they haven't changed. ttlan: I've copied and pasted the one out of Override. Is that good? Hassat Hunter 571 Posted February 10, 2011 You aren't using the dialogue editor of KOTOR Tool are you? It doesn't work with KOTOR2. Use DLGEditor 2.3.0 by tk102.
Mandalore 61 Posted February 10, 2011 I'm using tk102's DLGEditor 2.3.2.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted February 11, 2011 There is a newer version? Anyways, under "Edit" is "Automatically Apply Changes" checked?
Mandalore 61 Posted February 11, 2011 Yep, it's checked.
ttlan 18 Posted February 12, 2011 I have a doubt here: the prestige classes do not depend on the alignment but the level (level 15 minimum, no?).
Mandalore 61 Posted February 12, 2011 They fire generally if your level is equal to or greater than 15, and if your alignment is equal to or greater than 75 (lightside classes) or equal to/lesser than 25 (darkside classes). i'm trying to set it so that I can get the lightside prestige classes at neutral and the darkside prestige classes at alignment 40 or below.
