Xythen Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 I recently downloaded a mod with an .nss and .ncs file respectively. I wanted to alter the mod a bit to my liking. How do I compile the edited .nss file into a new .ncs file? I've tried all over.... just not sure where the compiler is. Any help is appriciated thanks. The .ncs file was standalone btw. No additional files needed. Just a script. Quote
DarthTyren Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 The best way is to just use the KotOR Tool text editor, which doubles as a script compiler. You also need a copy of the game's nwscript in the Override directory in order to compile. Quote
Kexikus Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 You can find the nwscript.nss file you need with Kotor Tool in "Kotor I / Kotor II -> BIFs -> scripts.bif -> Script, Source -> nwscript.nss" Make sure you grab the correct one for the game you're editing since they are not the same! Quote
