I have freezes and crashes after the Khoonda battle

Hey

I have the restored content patch and droid planet installed, both the latest versions and using the GOG kotor2 version

 

Every time after the Khoonda battle when the administrator thanks you, as soon as I click on a dialogue reply the game freezes and then crashes (with the KOTOR 2 stopped working windows error)

Doesn’t matter how many times I reload and redo the battle it crashes every time at that exact spot

 

To get the game to run at all I have the window mode enabled and the movies disabled in the INI file, (otherwise game crashes and forces restart on starting before it even gets to main menu, due to movies not supporting widescreen I read)

Also v-sync is enabled otherwise I can’t move after combat (or during although if you click an enemy character auto moves to them)

 

 

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there not a fix??

1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur?  :After Khoonda battle

2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? (1.8.5 and 1.2 respectively) We only provide assistance for the most current version of those mods. Yes

3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? GOG

4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (4-CD version ONLY) n/a

5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file? Not only fresh but brand spanking new!

6) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) The droid planet (M4-78)

7) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? After winning the Khoonda battle, the game warps you into administrators room where she thanks you. You get 3 dialogue choice replies. As soon as I click on a reply, the game freezes then crashes with the windows error

8) Have you tried re-downloading/re-installing the mod? Yes

9) Have you tried using a different save game? Yep, I have 3 savegames before the battle and a quicksave

10) Have you tried starting a new game? No (I'd rather not have to, of course. lol)

11) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) Windows XP

12) Can you confirm that you see the TSLRCM logo on the the main menu screen? Yes

13) What language is your game set for? English

14) Which language of TSLRCM are you using? English

I've have seen this mentioned before, but I could never replicate it nor have any idea why it happens. Usually people solve it by picking option 1 or 2. Did you try the same all times?
