Telos Academy Bug ( gog )

Hello all,

 

I am a huge fan of TSL, and TSLRCM 1.8.4 . I've played the various versions of the mod, and the team has done a fantastic job. However, on my most recent playthrough, I experienced a problem. 

 

Everything in the gamer was fine, until the Telos Academy. After defeating the HK units, and checking poor Bao-Dur was still breathing, I walked through the door into the academy.

 

The cutscene with the Handmaidens walking over to Bao-Dur played, and then the game loaded the main menu. The main menu doesn't respond to the mouse or keys, except Alt+F4. If I do that, it brings up the "Do you want to exit? Your game will not be saved" box, which then returns keyboard and mouse control. I can either exit the game or use the main menu.

 

My attempts at fixing it have been:

 

Reloading from the beginning of the Telos Military base. The same error occurs when I get to that point.

I have tried using WARP codes to enter the Academy: it leads to the same result of returning to the main menu.

 

This is a save file I have been playing regularly since the beginning of the year, not one I have returned to. I did notice today, before the error arose, that Steam wanted to update TSL. Could this be the source of the problem? Is there a fix version of TSLRCM that has broken this for me? And if so, how could I return to it?

 

If it's a stupid mistake I have made in not reading the install instructions, please let me know. I'll restart the save if I have to, but it's not my preference.

2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? (1.8.4 ) We only provide assistance for the most current version of those mods.

Yes 

3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version?

5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file?

Fresh install

7) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen?

8) Have you tried re-downloading/re-installing the mod?

Yes

Hi there.... I experienced a problem on the Trayus academy just after Atton vs Darth Sion lightsaber duel scene, and the game loaded the main menu and the mouse turns unresponsive.    I presses ALT F4 and  I restart the game again.    Just when the game begin with Darth Traya seat in meditation on the Trayus Core were she surrounded with Mira, The Handmaiden, Visas Narr an Atton, all ready together to attack Darth Traya,    when I type warp 904mal, the game jump the Trayus Core were the exile will have the final duel with Darth Traya, and I ended the game.

IIRC that was an issue with the first release of TSLRCM 1.8.4, that was since fixed. Are you sure you have the latest version?

i have download the mod the 8th april 2016 at http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod-184/

I think it's the latest. If not, where can I get the latest update ?

That is the latest version.

 

The only thing I can suggest then is to reinstall the game and the mod while keeping your savegames and then load one from before going to the Polar Academy. I don't know if that will help in any way, but it's all I can think of right now :/

You might have gotten the version with that bug... it was on less than 24 hours, and we've updated the workshop, but .exe's don't auto-update.
