HK50 - Do i have to have HK47 in the party at Nar Shadaa Bounty hunter frenzy ?

Hello,

 

First of all thank you for your excellent mod. I have the following question: I am at Nar shadaa and hav assembled HK47, I was ambushed by one HK50 Team and my journal tells me, that in order to find the HK factory i have to defeat two more teams of HK50.

Now i have to rescue the exile (with atton and bao dur) and i defeated two further HK50 teams on Nar Shadaa (in the bounty hunter frenzy).... But I didnT hav HK 47 with me.. Do these bounty hunter HK50 count for the three teams or do i meet more later on ? Cause if not, i have to reload....

I don't believe they apply. The factory encounters are specific ones. (I may be wrong though)

No, you don't have to have HK-47 in your party to complete the side quest and trigger the factory--I do Dantooine first, then Nar Shadda then Dxun and, barring a mod conflict, have yet to not trigger the factory before going to Dxun and I usually don't have HK-47 in my party. The good part is you will run into 3 teams on HK-50's on Dxun/Onderon alone, in addition to the 2 you run into on Nar Shadda and at least 2 more on Korriban so triggering the HK factory shouldn't be a problem

And the Nar Shaddaa bounty hunter frenzy ones don't count because if you have HK in your party during that, I don't think they appear.

hmmm, reminds me that I never got the journal-entry about the HK-factory at all! I got the 'journal updated'-message when I killed a HK50-squad, but nothing actually appeared in the journal itself ... is this a know bug?

I can't tell if the HK-factory would trigger or not, 'cause I was stuck at the Telos Academy due to an issue with the Handmaidens-battle (caused by the Handmaiden Sisters fix, I think).

Plenty of reasons that could happen though, most likely a non-TSLRCM global.jrl or globalcat.2da in your override.
