Hello I'm posting here to seek help, I'm having a problem with my swkotor2.ini. When I modify it, the changes don't take effect at all, I tried some obvious es such as turning the sound off but the game sounds were still running.

I was actually trying to modify the resolution options in the .ini file, because when I run the game, I only see 3/4 of the game screen, even when I play full screen (althouh I can't play full screen anymore since I tried modifying my .ini, it always is in windowed mode now, and still only takes 3/4 of the screen with the max size).

To modify my .ini easily I copied it on my desktop modified it and then reput it in my kotor2 root folder... I found out only later that I could just modify the properties in order to be abble to modify the .ini directly from its original folder.

Here is what I have atm

--------------------------------------------------------------------

[Display Options]

FullScreen=1

Disable Movies=0

Disable Intro Movies=0

Sort Modules=1

Width=640

Height=480

BitsPerPixels=32

RefreshRate=60

[sound Options]

Disable Sound=1

[Graphics Options]

EnableHardwareMouse=1

FullScreen=0

Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1

[Game Options]

TooltipDelay Sec=

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright, so if anyone knows how I can make it so my .ini works again, or had the same problem as me with the screen being cut 3/4, give me some tips plz =) sorry for english mistakes if there are any, I'm from france.

If you have any questions or need more precisions in order to being abble to help me let me know. thank you!

The fact that 'fullscreen=0' under graphics options, should have your game running in 'Window mode'. Changing that should bring your game back to normal.

If changes to the .ini file don't work, be sure to check if the file is 'read-only' and that you have administrative rights. Administrative rights both in your Windows-account and in your files (the .ini but also the KOTOR2.exe).

And also, what MrPhil said...
