Having troubles downloading

Recommended Posts

Hi, i recently played kotor 2 finally for the first time using the restoration mod for that game ( dont know if you made that as well if you did its a great mod), and i decided to try replaying through kotor 1 modded this time.

I tried downloading your mod from here http://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/54/? and it did not download from the exe file so i tried downloading it manually and that did not work either. I looked at your faq and couldnt find anything that would be helpful in fixing whatever is wrong so i thought id ask for help here.

The errors that come up while clicking on the exe to install are. " warning! cannot locate the ini file " changes.ini" with work instructions!"

a second error pops up that says. "unable to load instructions text! make sure the "tslpatchdata" folder containing "info.rtf" file is located in the same folder as this application"

after that it brings up a screen thats labled game data patcher for kotor/tsl and i cannot click on start patching all i can click on is a magnifying glass that brings up a few things in the patcher.

I use windows 10 so i thought maybe that could be the problem, otherwise im not sure.

You will need to unpack the mod from the 7z archive it's in, so you will need 7-zip or WinRAR or something of that nature.

If you've just been trying to run the installer from inside the archive, that could explain the issue. As it is, I did not upload the Nexus Mods version, so I'm not actually aware if it has all the files like it should...
