Hartley 20 0 Posted August 17, 2014 Hello there. I am a KOTOR 2 TSLRCM noob - having only played it religiously in my childhood - and have only just discovered this mod that I had hoped to install with my KOTOR2 copy1) When did the problem begin to occur?I run into a problem where after the LA and Obsidian Logo appear my game suddenly crashes. I have tried re installing and have found out that it only happens when the mod is installed as it runs fine when using the vanilla game. This does seem to be a familiar problem.2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? [unanswered]3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version?Steam4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (Updates are included in the Steam version. Skip this question if you are using that.)As far as Steam is concerned, KOTOR 2 is up to date. However, I have only just purchased it and have turned off the updates.5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file? This is a fresh installation as I have followed the read me file.6) Did you use the TSLPatcher, if provided? No TSLRCM patcher was provided in the download.7) Were there any errors in the TSLPatcher installation?[unanswered]8) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!)There are no other mods that I have downloaded.9) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? As stated above, the game crashes as soon as the Obsidian logo goes of screen. Note: This only happens when the mod is installed.10) Have you tried re-downloading the mod?[unanswered]11) Have you tried using a different save game? This starts when booting up the game. Save games are irrelevant to this issue.12) Have you tried starting a new game? This starts when booting up the game. Save games are irrelevant to this issue.13) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.)My system specifications are as follows. : Windows 7 operating system, 64 bit operatingToshiba Laptop Intel core i3-2312 CPU@ 2.10 GHz, 4.00 GB Ram, Graphics Card: Intel® HD Graphics 3000Additionally, the fixes I have tried as I have researched the issue...- Getting rid of all saved data.- Looking into the INI file to change some graphic settings i.e =1 (which was already in the file.- Turned off all updates.Any help would be appreciated as I am desperate to relive one of my childhood's favorite games. Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted August 17, 2014 You've answered some of the required questions for posting lists but not all of them. 1) Read this thread. 2) Post the questions and the answers in this thread. Have the answer for each question follow each question. (Don't just post two long lists.) 3) We need to know which type of operating system you are using - in addition to the 64 bits it uses. Which Windows are you using? 4) Include TSLRCM in your list of mods if you attempted to use it.
