guf 0 Posted July 5, 2014 1) When did the problem begin to occur? After the dialogue with Slusk ends, I start the fight normal enough. But the game will just crash randomly during the fight. I cannot pinpoint an EXACT cause of the crash, it just does at some point in combat. Usually when one or two of his mercs go down. 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? Yes 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? Steam 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? I believe so, however I was under the impression that the Steam version of the game did not require an update. 5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file? Fresh. 6) Did you use the TSLPatcher, if provided? Yes 7) Were there any errors in the TSLPatcher installation? Nope! 8) What other mods did you have installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) Many...I should have been keeping track of them but alas, I did not. Most of the mods are found here: http://www.reddit.com/r/kotor/comments/20ioc0/kotor_1_and_2_mod_builds_guaranteed_compatibility/ I also have much all of the mods listed at TSLRCM's ModDB page. 9) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? There's two qualifications: When I tell Slusk I am working for the Ithorians, I crash. Guaranteed, every time, as soon as he is done speaking his line. Otherwise, when Slusk leaves and orders his mercs to kill me, the game will either crash immediately, or after I kill like one or two of his guys. That's it! I have no idea why this is happening and how to undo it. This is the first sign of trouble I've been having with the mod. I've tried turning the game to windowed mode, I've turned down EVERY graphical setting, I have tried renaming my override folder so it ignores it. I have no idea how to fix this! 10) Have you tried re-downloading the mod? Yes 11) Have you tried using a different save game? Yes 12) Have you tried starting a new game? No (I'm 7 hours in :\) 13) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) Windows 7 Any help is greatly appreciated! Let me know if you want any additional info. I was really excited to have a marathon session today but it looks like that won't be the case

Mephiles550 227 Posted July 6, 2014 Not sure if this will help, but in your list of mods, do you remember the order you installed each, or at least some of them? If so, do you remember if the NPC Overhaul mod was one of your first or last mods you installed in the game? IIRC, The NPC Overhaul Mod modifies each individual level not through the override, but put's changes in the Module folder itself (I could be wrong about that though. It's been a while since I've used that mod), so renaming the Override folder might not help much. Eitherway, try re-installing the Appearance and Telos parts of the Overhaul mod, then get a save before entering Slusk hideout and try again.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted July 8, 2014 Another check... does the room you're in contains 3 uniquely named NPC's (the 3 you met in the Cantina before)? Or is some of them apparently missing? If so; there's your cause.
