wallsofmine 0 Posted April 14, 2014 Hello, I am a new user of deadlystream but a long time player of Kotor 2. I need help to get a bug fixed. Master Kavar, when I am done with the siege of Onderon, thinks that he is still in the cantina, and I just got the secret message to him. I need to speak with him to finally end Onderon's problems but I can't when he thinks that I just talked to him for the first time. Is there a way to right this, or will I have to restart my entire game?

wallsofmine 0 Posted April 14, 2014 1) When did the problem begin to occur? April 11, 20142) Did you install the latest version of the mod? yes3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? I have the steam version 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? yes i have updated the game5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file? I installed the latest version of TSLRCM. Never used the previous versions.6) Did you use the TSLPatcher, if provided? Never heard of it7) Were there any errors in the TSLPatcher installation? Never used it.8) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) A lot, but they were mostly texture packages for robes and the ability for Boa-Dur to where his own robes. I can't remember what I downloaded honestly, but I'm sure nothing would interfere with speech options. 9) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? It happened when I met Kavar inside the the palace for the first time in the left hallway of the palace. He had the same speech options as when we were talking in the cantina.10) Have you tried re-downloading the mod? No.11) Have you tried using a different save game? Yes12) Have you tried starting a new game? Hell no.
MrPhil 58 Posted April 14, 2014 Yeah, these mods might conflict. If you could list them here, it would help narrow if and which one of these is the culprit.
wallsofmine 0 Posted April 15, 2014 Is it possible to just keep my saves in a separate folder and then uninstall the game? Would that help?
Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted April 15, 2014 Is it possible to just keep my saves in a separate folder and then uninstall the game? Would that help? Can't answer that without knowing exactly what mods you used.
ancient46 12 Posted June 29, 2014 The game uninstaller gives you the option to keep your saves. It will leave it intact and you can use the saves after a fresh install. My saves were made with all the mods I use installed. I had a crash, so I played the unmodded game first and continued to play through the crash point after adding the mods one at a time. I had no problems, the save worked every time.
