mss32.dll is missing from my computer.

I know that I have downloaded the mod because the game menu tell me I have the 1.8.3 mod, but when I game on the main menu an image pops up and tells me " The program can't start because mss32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem ". Is this an easy fix? Do I really have to reinstall the game or mod? (That would be a hassle.)
