Asgar 10 Posted October 14, 2010 Hey people, so I got a problem on Malachor that prevents me from playing on. I'm a darksider and after I finish the small sequence where you play the remote, Go-To appears, so does HK-47 and his new 51-buddies, they zap him and done. Then I get a sequence of the Ebon Hawk falling down into a pit (is there any restored content explaining how the hell it got out of there again, by the way?) and then I see Kreia meditating in the Triumvirate's chamber, then the Handmaiden appears and draws her lightsaber, advancing towards Kreia. Yeah, and then the camera cuts to my exile and I have empy dialogue boxes and no options, can't skip, nothing happens, no matter how long I wait. Annoying, to say the least. Anything I can do? Also, since Bug-Reports have been asked for, I also remember that the game always crashed whenever I got into that cutscene on Dantooine after Mandalore beat that other mandalorian guy and his followers leave the place. Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 14, 2010 1) Press 1. (already fixed for 1.7). The fix for it to put into override should also float somewhere, but I don't recall where. 2) Happens if you don't have a third party member. Not sure if that can be fixed (not good with code, haven't heard Stoney or Zbyl say anything about it yet)...
Asgar 10 Posted October 15, 2010 Well, that was surprisingly easy a solution. Should have figured that out myself. Either way, I'm done now, has been fun playing with the mod and the game did indeed feel more complete. However, while they're probably already reported, I still feel the need to point out a few of the noteworthy bugs I encountered while playing. 1. Somewhere after/on Telos (but only after I got my stuff back from the TSF) I lost all the items from my inventory (or rather, I noticed that only then, dunno when exactly it happened) with the exception of the items my party members had currently equipped, as well as credits, chemicals, parts for crafting. It was not exactly game-breaking since I managed to get a somewhat decent basic equipment back with the help of the console, merchants and some crafting, but it was nonetheless highly demotivating and annoying. Actually, I remember having tried this mod once before already with a different character, but that time, I noticed that it happened already when on the Ebon Hawk right after destroying Peragus. That totally killed my motivation to play on. 2. I was attacked by the Red Eclipse thrice. The first time was alright and played out okay. The second and third attack happened somewhere when I was near the Swoop Racing place. It all happened again with cutscene and all, though no questlog entry. The guys near the ship who talk to you and then attack spawned again (twice, obviously), but nobody else did, including the people within the ship. So I could do nothing and had to use the Warp cheat to return to the "regular" Hawk Interior whenever I wanted to enter it from Nar Shadda. 3. After I got all the required HK-50-Kills and that scene played where HK-47 tortured the captured unit and learned where the factory was, after a few seconds, the screen faded to black and nothing happened, no matter how long I waited. I could fix it by saving the game and loading that save. 4. Only a minor thing, but since I am someone who likes an orderly questlog, it still annoyed me a bit. The Lost in the Shadows quest was never noted as finished. For the record, I persuaded Kaevee to the dark side, then went to explore the Enclave Ruins, found the mercenary corpses, went to find Vrook, but left him with the mercenaries and then joined Azkul and attacked Khoonda. Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 15, 2010 1. Nope, no one else has that. So I can savely say it's not TSLRCM. Have any other mods? 2. Try the Nar Shaddaa fix in the downloads section. 3. Did you skip the last line prematurely? If so, that's already fixed for 1.7. 4. It's supposed to close when finding Vrook in the cave. I suppose it didn't then? If that's the case I guess it's supposed to set queststate 30, but fails since it's already 70 (and a higher number takes precedent). Should be an easy fix... Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 16, 2010 4. Okay, the issue is a bit more complicated than it seemed, though not much. Will get that fixed for 1.7. For now you can use KSE to put it to 80 or 90, that should close it without having any other consequences...
Markus Ramikin 107 Posted October 16, 2010 a sequence of the Ebon Hawk falling down into a pit (is there any restored content explaining how the hell it got out of there again, by the way?) Hah, I used to feel like I'm the only person sane enough to notice that scene doesn't make sense.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 16, 2010 Well, it does if the planet stays intact. Otherwise not.
