New Storyline Mod based on High Noon (1952)

Ever seen High Noon (1952) with Gary Cooper?

How about a storyline mod based on its plot featuring a Jedi instead of a sheriff from the Old West?

Plot summary from IMDb:

On the day he gets married and hangs up his badge, lawman Will Kane is told that a man he sent to prison years before, Frank Miller, is returning on the noon train to exact his revenge. Having initially decided to leave with his new spouse, Will decides he must go back and face Miller. However, when he seeks the help of the townspeople he has protected for so long, they turn their backs on him. It seems Kane may have to face Miller alone, as well as the rest of Miller's gang, who are waiting for him at the station...

Replace:

badge with lightsaber
lawman with Jedi
Miller with Sith Lord and his gang with Dark Jedi/Sith Assassins

Love High Noon. One of my favorites.

 

Should be a pretty straight forward mod. What planet though? If K1, could see it be on Tatooine. K2?.....maybe Telos Station. Of course no High Noon mod would be complete without the music. You would need the music.

 

Did you ever see Sean Connery's movie, Outland? Kind of a neat little space High Noon adaptation.

Telos would make sense since the shuttle bays would substitute for the train station.

 

Dantooine in K2 could also work since the people there distrust Jedi already.

 

Tatooine sounds like the best bet for K1.

Why not make your mod using the cut content character? Lt. Yima is mentioned in game by Grenn so you at least have a tie-in by a major Telos character.
