Torm 10 Posted July 31, 2010 I realize that the mod does not fix powers at the moment but I just finished on play through and noticed that master speed/armor/valor do not all give you the full compliment of defense that you should receive. For instance if you cast force armor first it DOES give you the plus 6 defense, I then cast Master speed and valor and should have an extra 6 defense but only receive 5! This is a HIGH DEX character so I am thinking it is either bugged OR their is a defense cap at certain levels since my DEX is so high PS I saw some posts from 2004 saying that people were receiving the saving throws bonus from the force armor line but not the defense...I know I AM getting the defense I am guessing this was fixed at some point by obsidian... Hassat Hunter 571 Posted August 1, 2010 It's not so much a bug as well as an unmentioned rule. Master Flurry still giving -1 penalty (KOTOR) while it states it should be penaltyless could be considered a bug though. Hassat Hunter 571 Posted August 1, 2010 Depends if you want the abilities to match the description (more work) or the description to match the abilities (which should be doable in the dialog.tlk file, so all you need is to improve my improved dialog.tlk file ). VarsityPuppet 1,085 Posted August 1, 2010 Well, since benefits of feats tend to be hard-coded, matching the dialog.tlk would probably be the answer for some of them. For Force powers, they're all scripted, so theoretically, you could fix the effects to match the description. Note the use of bold, italics and underline with 'theoretically'.
