Jakorap 10 Posted September 21, 2010 So for some reason or another (I think it may be a script error from my mods), Atton actually won't become a Jedi. I took a video to actually show what happens (or what doesn't happen...) I would edit the video, except my video editing skills are non existent. I took the video in Fraps, which is why its so laggy. I just clicked through the dialogue because it doesn't make a difference and it would decrease the video's length. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xewlu2_ko...jedi_videogames For some reason or another, I think the bug might be caused by the TSLRCM 1.6 mod, but I don't know how to uninstall it. Guest Ajunta Posted September 29, 2010 Well, I can't really comment on your video because I hardly get anything from it. It just rushes by too fast. But as to your suspicion it might have to do with the TSLRCM 1.6 mod: I have that mod installed and I have played it light- and dark-sided. Both times Atton would become a Jedi without any problems. So, your difficulties must lie somewhere else. Therefore I would advise against uninstalling this wonderful mod!
Markus Ramikin 107 Posted September 29, 2010 Well, I can't really comment on your video because I hardly get anything from it. It just rushes by too fast. That's what the pause button is for. But yeah, in TSLRCM itself there are no problems jedifying Atton. You must have some other mod whose scripts interfere.
Guest GarfieldJL Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) I have seperate problems with the 1.6 mod (stoney once gave me a fix for the problem (mod incompatibility) but I had to reinstall and no longer have the fix), however I can say there is no problem with Atton Jedifying at least from 1.6. The only reason I can think you're having problems is you haven't got enough influence with Atton yet. Either that or a seperate mod. I was one of the testers and I don't remember any version I went through where you couldn't Jedify Atton, I remember other issues cropping up but never anything involving Atton becoming a Jedi. I tend to play lightside though so if you're playing darkside I can't make that statement with certainty, however from a lightside standpoint Atton was the char that never had any issues Jedifying. Do you have any mods that may affect Atton? Edited October 3, 2010 by GarfieldJL Clarrification
Guest Ajunta Posted October 4, 2010 During my present playthrough as LS male I encountered a different snag: When I had the conversation with Atton I had not enough influence (4 times). Therefore he wouldn't reveal why he left the Sith. As I gained more influence (airspeeder, Lootra quest) nothing changed, he still would not answer. As I had six times influence at this time I can only presume that it has to happen the first time around or it will never happen. Well, I started Nar Shaddaa again, had the influence with the thugs in the Refugee Landing Zone and this time the conversation went without any problems. This has to be a bug. Why else would it not be possible to continue the conversation after gaining more influence?
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 4, 2010 Well, I checked in the dialogue editor, and there is nothing that can cause that... well, other mods could I guess...
Guest Ajunta Posted October 5, 2010 As for the other mods I had installed at the time: Coruscant, Workbench Crystal Attunement and two parts of the Peragus, Harbinger-Fix (the other two parts would not install). There should be no problem with compatibility. But, I assume the bug could be rooted quite simply in the original game and not be caused by a mod. Jakorap 10 Posted October 5, 2010 I managed to fix my issue. The problem was I wasn't selecting the right option for him to become a Jedi. I didn't chose the option or didn't get one to tell him what jedi class he's going to be and thats why it didnt work the first time. I did install tslrcm 1.6 but I doubt it affected my issue. Thanks for the help everyone!
