Is it a good idea to save your levels in KotOR II like it is in the first game?

Recommended Posts

Should I save my levels before becoming a jedi or specializing or whatever (its been a while) like was advised in KotOR I?

Thanks!

No, because TSL has a level cap of 50, and with TSLRCM you have enough stuff to get you xp even past level 20, and with stoffe's High Level Force Powers installed, you'll still have stuff to grab as you level up higher and higher.

Also, I believe sometimes the 'Prestige' class is almost a downgrade.. e.g. a Jedi Master gets a slower Defence bonus increase and worse saves than a Jedi Consular.

So if you want to go down the pure force user path, you are probably better raising your lower levels as a Consular to up your DB....

The Prestige Classes gain the same DEF, however 1 level sooner each time than a regular Jedi class.

So the Defense Bonus is much faster, not slower...

:/

I know most prestige classes get an increase in DEF every 5 levels, as opposed to 6 (in the starting classes). Somewhere at the back of my mind I have a memory that this isn't true for Jedi Master, and the DEF actually gets worse as a master...

Maybe it was a bug that got fixed... or maybe I just made the whole thing up in my head! Opps!!
