KOTOR 1 on steam

Hi,

I've just picked up KOTOR1 on Steam for almost nothing and am playing it through on Vanilla (had seriously forgotten how good it is!), but due to the boot-up involving steam, do any of you guys know if this will have any effect on adding mods for future playthroughs?

Not all 'Steam' games need to be launched from Steam - COD4 for example, I could launch directly by running the main .exe file. Ditto a lot of older games too (Deus Ex, I think).

 

I'd suggest trying to launch the game outside of Steam and see what happens - if it launches, then I can't see you having any problems with Mods

All mods I've tried work fine with Steam, including big ones like Brotherhood of Shadow.
