MOD:Revenge of Revan

Thanks for all the hard work.

I have a question regarding the installation of the mod on android.

I was surprised to even find a "mobile" folder within the zip file, which is great - you're thinking about mobile players too!

However, the installation doesnt work as intended. While the latter part of the readme instructions are straightforward and easy (copy to android data folder), the first part is somewhat vague and unclear. Do we need to use the PC installer (x64 or x86) to "install" (or rather unpack) the mod into thatvery folder itself ( before transferring the folder to android/data)? How do we even do that - the installer produces an error immediately, presumably because no K2 installation is found. Furthermore, the readme mentions "choose android version". Where is that option situated? I didnt see it anywhere on the installer, the drop down menu has steam/gog/disk choices and that's it!

Please assist.

I'm afraid I wouldn't know how to help you at this time.

As a developer, I'm restricted to the platforms that I have - and that's the Steam version of Kotor II on a Windows 11 PC with the Aspyr update. This is why other users have reported system related crashes in regards to the Jedi Council and the Ending scenes. I wasn't thinking of anyone else or their systems when developing the mod, and that is because I was pushing for it to be released first and foremost.

I'm working on Episode Two right now, but as with Episode One I obviously cannot update ROR to Episode Two without Logan. Therefore, I can guarantee this - before Episode Two is released I will try and tell Logan about your issues so we can figure out a better way to have ROR installed on an Android/Mobile device.

Has anyone else experienced crashes during the initial jedi council cutscene, as soon as the camera wants to move from the Wookiee master - crash.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why this is crashing.

I have this same problem.

I am using the Disc 1.0b version on windows 11.

Something else that might be related, when I installed I got an error, something to do with the localization.mod file. It didn't prevent the game from starting up though, so I didn't worry about it.

The Jedi Temple scene does have crashes at various points depending on game version and/or system.

As I personally do not experience these bugs, hence why I can't fix them, a temporary fix has been made by adding an option where you can skip the Jedi Council scene when you meet with Drayen outside the elevator. This'll take you straight to Corellia with Drayen in your party and allow you to play the mod beyond the Jedi Council scene.

This'll be added in Episode Two with all of Episode One's bug fixes and improvements, however, Episode One's bug fixes (and this particular bug fix) will be available to players early in the form of a sub mod which will be downloaded separately from ROR and will be installed on top of ROR as it is now.
