building a computer for modding

So, I'm planning on building two PC's. One for modding, the other for gaming.

My Question is, what are people's recommendations/guides for building PC's tailored to playing KOTOR 1 & 2, along with modding for them.

Assume that money isn't an issue, and that I'm looking to build the best possible PC's.

 

As to modding goals, it's primarily a combination of updating graphics to HD/4K specs, along with working on the M4-78 Restoration mods, along with the other mod projects.

 

Other, longer term modding goals include the following:

1. Machinima/Star Wars Holiday Special

I managed to find a copy of the Star Wars Holiday Special, along with the Donny and Marie Holiday Special.

My idea: recreate the Star Wars Holiday Specials in kotor 1 and/or 2.

Honestly, I primarily want to attempt it for the absurdity factor.

2. GameCube/XBox modding

I've been working on my childhood GameCube after it broke down; it's salvageable, I just need to set aside time to fit.

I'm planning on installing Swiss on it, so I can make and play home-brew on it, along with  the games that were only released in Japan.

I also have Rogue Squadron 2 & 3 for it; don't know if anyone would be interested in any modding projects there, but thought I'd mention itWith the original Xbox, I'm planning mods relating to the Halo and  Battlefront games, and setting up LAN parties and groups for them

 

Kinda a long post, but any feedback is appreciated

That literally makes no sense. A single PC can do both. Why would you waste money on a whole second PC when you could just put all that money into a single PC?
