Phalanxx Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Hi there, I haven't played Kotor 2 in years, and thought I'd give it another shot. I've got it installed and working fine, along with the TSLRCM 1.7, the high quality movies and high quality sound installed. I've just arrived on Telos, and have been let out of the apartment. I see a cutscene, where the ravager appears - there's a movie, which I can see. Then there is a cutscene, with in-game graphics. There is no sound, and it skips over the dialogue - I don't have time to read what happened. It's been so long since I last played, I can't tell you the names of the characters involved. One is the main baddy on the cover (white mask), and the other is a woman in red with a veil on her face. Is there something I need to do to see the cutscene? Or even just something I can do to read the dialogue (it seemed important!) Thanks! Quote
MrPhil Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Try to close your game and start-it again, see if the issue happens again... 1 Quote
Phalanxx Posted November 29, 2011 Author Posted November 29, 2011 Try to close your game and start-it again, see if the issue happens again... I've moved on, so I went back to a savegame from before it happened, and now I can't figure out how to trigger the cutscene again! D'oh! It's when you're first let loose on Telos, and you see the Ravager fly in, and some stuff happens. Can't tell if there is a light side/darkside trigger or what... I think it may be a windowed/fullscreen thing, possibly? Quote
Hassat Hunter Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 It's the game-engine of KOTOR acting up, it does that sometimes. As said, resolution is restarting the game, no more dialogue fast-forwarding. The trigger for the cutscene itself is being enough light or darksided. Quote
