I have a question, I am able to 'train' Bao-Dur, Atton, Mira, and even Visas with techiques that I learn throughout the story including Affect Mind and Dominate Mind. Not sure about Brianna (The Handmaiden) but I am not able to train the Disciple in a similar way. I can teach everyone else lightsaber forms and techniques but not the disciple.. is it meant to be like that?

Seems like they're closing in on completion but I have no idea. Hopefully in 2012, yeah?

Will you wait to TOR to be free-to-play before trying it?

Bah! Details! I like to think of "off the record" as "it can't be used against you if you say anything incriminating". I watch too much Law & Order and I hear that "off the record" line so much that sometimes I forget that they're in private and things on the internet are public. So basically, if you work for Bioware and saw anything you didn't like here here.. *jedi mind trick* you didn't see anything. -
In Your Opinion, what are the best mods to play with this?

So basically if I were to just get M4-78 and Malachor VI (maybe GenoHaradan) then i'd be good. Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. -

I never truly saw the reason for monthly fees for that very reason. It's not a 'social network' like facebook and it's not a 'dating site'.. it's a video game which will cost what? 60 dollars (American) on release? How does it make sense to charge 10 dollars more every month that the person plays that game.. it's why I don't play WoW despite the 'hype' for it. Could be the best game ever but the monthly fees ruin any appeal it might have. -
Indeed, thank you for the update.

Right? When I first saw the CG trailers, I was like "wow, this could be great" but then I saw the actual gameplay.. and it's not nearly as impressive as I thought it would be. It's why I never pre-order games based off of CG trailers anymore.. learned my lesson about that years ago. I can understand the reason for monthly fees.. server upkeep and all of that but there are tons of "free to play" MMOs out there that do great despite the need to not pay every month. -
I know there's a long list of mods that are compatible with TSLRCM but that's not what i'm asking. In your opinion, what compatible mods are almost "must have" for you when you start up TSL at this point aside from TSLRCM itself of course. I looked through the list and, to me anyway, it seems most of the mods are cosmetic at best with texture changes and things of that nature.

If I had to guess, i'd say that it was the "fine-tuning" and "completion" parts of it all. They most likely want to ensure that they fix any 'major bugs' as it'd suck to finally release it then get tons of posts about a game-breaking bug early on. Also like MrPhil stated before me.. there could be one or two modders still needing to complete the portion that they are working on. Personally, i'd prefer they wait and release a polished 1.8 rather than an incomplete and buggy one. If that means it won't come out until 2012 then so be it. Plus it's already December, and the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas (or whatever you celebrate), New Years) raise their heads this time of year. They have lives too.

Not that surprising despite the fact that it was incomplete, it was still a great game and as long as there's still 'new' copies out there.. someone somewhere will be selling it. I own it for both the XBox and the PCand with all these super mods i'm glad I made the choice to get it for the PC as opposed to just the Xbox.

Yeah, they could make a 'great' plot but in the end the fact that it is an MMO completely ruins it for me. Maybe i'm being picky but I look at games like WoW, where you go off and kill a boss then come back.. and get a 'reward' and nothing changes.. Cutscenes and dialogue and completely voiced makes it stand above the rest however the "i bought a game now I have to buy 10 bucks a month to play it" ruins it. I'm not paying a monthly fee to play what should've been KOTOR3 anyway. Just my opinion though.
