To be honest, I've recently labelled Vista as, "The Antichrist." Windows 7 was God's relief to humanity for the torture that it recently went through in the travesty. As soon as I installed win7 it was like life got better. Things seemed brighter, colours were more vivid, life just seemed better.

Hmm...good point. I'll just start a game now. I can't wait, haha

Looks awesome! Can't wait for the new release! I'm about to start a new game due to graphics issues (finally got them fixed) and I was wondering if it would be a better idea for me to wait until 1.8's out, or continue with 1.7?

WOW. I can NOT believe it was this easy, and it might be good to note down. The fix was simple. Apparently at some point along the line, I had enabled, "disable desktop composition." After re-installing the game, testing various mods, this is what it came down to. Maybe it's just my graphics card, but apparently the game likes it when the desktop is created. Could just be my crappy intel card, tho. Thanks for your help, HH. EDIT: I should note: The problem happened when "disable desktop composition" was enabled. I didn't want people to get confused that turning it on fixed the problem.

I don't really want to bump...but I was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas. The odd thing is that it worked perfectly up until the point that I installed the remote influence mod. Which really, shouldn't affect the visuals at all. Maybe I just need to reinstall?

Ya, sorry, I forgot to mention that. I deleted both files from the overrides folder. No luck.

Hey, again, not sure if this is where I'm supposed to post this, but I just started having an issue today. So, I've been playing TSL with TSLRCM 1.7 for the past couple of days, with a couple of extra mods, all which are totally compatible. Then today I added the remote tells influence mod. Now, when I get to the screen that has the "Start new game" or "load game" and all those options, it's just black with the KOTOR cursor. Doesn't matter what I do, but I can't fix it. I'm really confused because the only thing I've changed was the remote influence mod and that shouldn't have had any effect on the rest of the game. If I move the mouse around, I still get the button rollover sound, and I can click them, but nothing shows up. Can anyone help me? Please?!?!

Haha...thanks...I asked for it in a different post, so I kept checking the other one. I don't know which list you're talking about, though.

Quick question, Not sure if this is where I'm supposed to post this, but here goes: I'm living in a dorm that has a content filter, and for some reason it decided that kotorfiles.com is a website filled with violence, death, and anything that's inappropriate for a man in college. Anyway, I am unable to download the mod to make the remote show you your influence and I was wondering if someone could either email it to me, or send me a link to a not filefront page? Thanks a bunch.

Hey everyone. Please don't get angry at me for my name... but I've had that one for around 10 or 11 years and I can't shake it from me. It WAS originally Auxilio (my newish gamer name) but something went messed up with my account and I can't access it anymore. Anyway, thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from Canada....not sure what other people are saying, haha. Thanks for being an awesome community, I absolutely LOVE TSLRCM. It's one of the best things that's ever happened Edit: HaVoKeR just added the remote influence to the thread because I asked for it in another one. Thanks a bunch!
