Mods that lower the prestige class level requirement?
Tricky replied to Tricky's topic in General Discussion
Too true. My previously mentioned RP 'moral code' won't really stop me from destroying things on the Peragus Facility, since there will be only droids there. You don't really have the opportunity to avoid a lot of actual killing until you reach first the Telos surface. In all likelihood my level will be quite close to 15 by the time I am finished with Telos too. Hm, this puts things into perspective. Thanks for reminding me. -

Mods that lower the prestige class level requirement?

What is 'the editor'? Textpad? I'm fairly new at this. -
I was wondering if anyone here has ever heard of mods that lower the minimum level requirement (14?) for the prestige classes. You see, I was thinking of creating a Jedi character that tries to avoid combat whenever he can, through use of stealth and in particular the Jedi Mind Trick and Beast Trick. However, I'm afraid my eventual level will be so low that I might only gain one or two prestige class levels before finishing the game. Perhaps even none at all. A mod that lowers the level requirement would solve this. Is anyone here familiar with such a mod? I'd also be interested to hear if anyone ever tried to play through the game this way, avoiding combat wherever possible.

Thank you, much obliged. I have some crazy things in mind for this character.

I don't yet have KOTOR 2 installed (waiting for the next patch), but I was speculating a bit about possible characters to play, combinations of classes and such. Which brings me to my question. In KOTOR 1, class skills are sticky. If you level from your first class (mundane) to your second (Jedi), you get to keep your class skills and the new ones are put on top. This is not like how dual-classing works in traditional D&D invironments, you're supposed to switch to the class-skills of the class you levelled in. But that's OK, it works in this game. Does it work like this in KOTOR 2 also? Does for example a Jedi Guardian turning into a Jedi Master get to keep Demolition as a class skill?

Ah, those are actually very welcome. The Exile has officially been established as female. I realized I want to play both Kotors 'canon', before the Kotor MMO is released next year. That way whatever lore I might encounter will match with what I did in the previous games. I will wait until your next patch then.

Great, that's all I needed to hear. Let the gaming begin!

I was thinking of doing a playthrough of both KOTOR titles. I'm not sure how long that will take, perhaps three weeks until I can get to KOTOR 2. Considering the state of progress on the next patch, would that be a wise thing to do? I don't want to finish KOTOR2, only to learn a new patch has just been released. I.. hope you don't see this as a progress question, they're a bit hated in certain communities. I just wanna play and not regret waiting a week for a better release afterwards.
